The boat was large, clean and comfortable. We arrived early enough to secure a window spot, but could freely move about between the outdoor upper and front decks. Overall, we were pretty disappointed. The scenery was beautiful, but the pre-recorded commentary was minimal at best. They have a captive audience so it was really a missed opportunity to not educate, inform or share more stories of the area. Even the TV displays could have displayed fun facts, trivia, knowledge, etc other than ads. In the last hour, it was so quiet, I looked around and saw many people with their eyes closed! For the time commitment and money, this was a bad value for us.
We had an amazing day out. From the start to the end was just breathtaking! The day out was well planned. Bjørn our driver for the day was super friendly, informative and knowledgeable about the history of Norway. A delightful young man.
the mostraumen fjord is not that exciting and experiencing it on an overcrowded boat of instagram wannabes is no fun. we had wanted to do a a longer trip to sognesfjord but lacking time did this instead. Not worth it.
Great experience in Bergen. I just wish we had gotten to the boat earlier to grab a window seat. The waterfalls along the way were amazing.
Superb four-hour cruise through the fjords with ever-changing views. Don’t miss when you are in Bergen. Those who find it too cold on the outside deck can sit inside. Recommended!
Got close to little village and massive waterfall before returning back toward Bergen. Lovely despite less than great weather.
We expected to see magnificent scenery. We saw a few waterfalls but the experience was very disappointing.
Enjoyed the trip through the fjords. The boat was very nice, modern and clean. The staff was so nice and very helpful. The captain tried to get us a close as he could to the different sites. Well worth this trip!!
I was only in Norway for 5 days so I had to make the most out of my time. While staying in Bergen, I chose this cruise to experience the Fjords and glad I did! We were blessed with a beautiful day albeit a little chilly. Although our boat was pretty full, there were comfortable seats available for all and I never had any problems getting plenty of pics on the deck. The tour guides would alert use when a photo op would be coming up. Plenty of waterfalls, charming villages. There are snacks and beverages sold on board and I thought the prices were pretty decent for a tourist attraction. If you have limited time in Bergen, this is a a great choice. Just make sure you know where to board the boat and if you want good seats you need to get in line early. I was a "solo" traveler so I had no issues but the families or groups did not always find seats together.
Superb scenes on this 3 hour boat trip. As you progress down the Fjord the scenery becomes more impressive. The water was frozen at the furthest point and made for spectacular scenes. Boat is large enough to take great pictures on the deck. Very warm inside.
