Before leaving the car filled out the registration. Free to do. Went in for the tour. Very informative. She was married 3 times. Not overwhelming with information. Got to explore on own after introduction information.
It was a very nice to visit, to learn the history of the mansion, to see how they lived and the people who lived there.
Very entertaining! This was our first time to the Grand Ole Opry. It’s definitely a “must see” for Nashville.
The tour guides are very well-educated on the mansion’s history and its owners. The mansion contains many authentic artifacts from the family who lived there. The only downside is that there is limited parking.
Beautiful historic mansion worth visiting! Excellent staff full of useful information, beautiful gardens as well!
Incredibly wonderful experience, I definitely recommend to book a guided tour through the mansion, Evelyn my tour guide was super knowledgeable and approachable and a wealth of knowledge, which she shared with me. I fully recommend !
Historic mansion with a beautiful setting. Interesting to visit.
I enjoyed visiting this house. There's a 10 or 15 minute introduction, and then you're free to wander through the house on your own. Docents are stationed in the rooms to answer any questions you may have. I stayed here about an hour. No advance purchase of tickets necessary as it is a little far from downtown. Tickets cost around $17 at the door. Beautiful house. Interesting history.
Got a 10 minute intro of the owners and time period they lived in, then went on a self guided tour of the two floors. Information was provided in each room. Took us about an hour for the whole thing. Highly recommend.
Interesting house. Guided tour only lasted ten minutes, the rest of the time was on our own. There is free parking next to the mansion but no sign guiding you there.
