Tripoli

Our driver spoke perfect English and took us straight to the Citadel and negotiated with soldiers to drop us at the front gate before going off to park. We spent an hour and a half in the castle - fabulous with great views of the city. We were then taken through the Souk to the Mosque but unfortunately it was the hour of prayers so only saw the forecourt. Instead we went to see Rabbit Island down on the seafront.

Solo Tripoli half day tour

I had my Tripoli tour with Imad which was nothing short of fantastic. Imad picked me up exactly on time and made me feel comfortable and at ease being a solo female traveler in a new country immediately. His knowledge and pure love of the country shows and is fantastic to see. I was taken to all the sights I requested and felt very safe in his company. Not only did he go out of his way to carry my bag for me and help me along all the sights but he also doubled as my personal photographer for the day to get the perfect shots to show my family. I cannot thank Imad enough and will most definitely book again for my next Lebanon trip.
