Great trip to enjoy breathtaking nature and historic Batroun. Ali was a wonderful guide ! Thank you - I had a wonderful day!
Had an absolutely fantastic experience with Zingy Ride. Robin was a fantastic driver and guide, and also a great conversationalist - he's a very funny guy. He really helped make visiting Lebanon a great experience. I'd highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. He's a safe driver, very considerate, a great photographer, and has a huge amount of information about the places we visited. Thanks again Robin!
Amazing experience! First of all, Ali, my driver was super chill and friendly and spoke English and French. He really took care of me and even offered me a coffee and water for the ride. Pickup and communication went very smoothly and so did the ride. I was alone but I felt very much at ease. Unfortunately the weather prevented us from continuing our ride all the way to the Aaqoura lakes but Ali is a very adequate driver and took no risks but did all he could to make the trip as enjoyable as possible despite the unfortunate weather. The waterfall was absolutely amazing and Ali gave me some information. Also in Batroun he showed me a few landmarks and waited for me while I had lunch and walked around. Thank you very very much for this trip, despite the unfortunate weather conditions I really enjoyed it a lot thanks to you! 🙏🏼💜 If anyone I know visits Lebanon I will definitely recommend this tour to them!
We booked the tour with high expectations to see the lakes and the waterfall, but we ended up disappointed because both of them were closed due to the snow and the company didn’t inform us in advance. So the tour was basically just the old souk of bautron and snow playing for 10 minutes. The driver though was really nice and he helped us a lot. I would just not recommend doing this tour in winter, maybe in summer is nicer. Because the company didn’t offer any refund for not being able to follow the plan.
Thank you for your review. We were surprised by your comments, as the product description and itinerary clearly state that the road is closed due to snow conditions from January to April. In this case, the service was delivered exactly as described in the itinerary. We appreciate your feedback and encourage all future guests to carefully review the product information prior to booking to avoid any misunderstandings. Kind regards.
I appreciated all of the cool places I got to go and the flexibility while we were there as I was traveling alone. Thank you!
Yeah, sure. Just keep in mind that depending on the season the lakes and waterfall may not contain water. Ali was welcoming, patient, flexible, friendly and informative.
Nice experience. Nice trip. Nice guide. Nice nature. Nice company. Nice weather. Nice towns. Nice places. Nice day. Nice trip.
To begin with, the tour company was very good to work with. I had an encountered a food illness the night before the tour, and they were flexible to make an exception for me to reschedule for the next day. My tour guide, Ali, was very welcoming and ensured that I felt comfortable and happy throughout the tour. Besides the places mentioned in the tour, he offered to stop along the way if I wanted, and also offered to add in the Cedar trees hike to my plans. Keep in mind that I was the only one at the tour that day, so having tour add-ons might not work as easily if more people are in the group. Regardless, I enjoyed the short hikes so much! The hikes were super short. The longest one was 1200 m (although you’ll have the option to pick a longer one at the cedars). Even though I have seen Mediterranean terrain and mountains before, the views in Lebanon are just something else! The weather is also much cooler up there, so a hike in the summer is still very doable. The only think I would change about this tour is if I knew more information about the Phoenician wall in Batroun. What I truly enjoy about traveling besides the nature, is asking the people about their history, politics, and culture. Ali, my tour guide, really made the tour special in this sense. I enjoyed the conversations. I ended the tour knowing so much more about Lebanon than before, and it made the day truly valuable.
Highly recommended very polite and knows alot of good places, friendly and good vibes. Knows how to speak english and arabic
Friendly, clear and flexible, totally recommend, speaking flawless English.! Adapted to some specific itinerary request as I was solo. Great trip! Would totally go back with him when I come back to Lebanon
