We had an amazing day with Gao Dapeng as our driver! He was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. On the journey to Mutianyu, he shared the fascinating history of the Great Wall and the Mutianyu section, which made the experience even more enjoyable. He also took us to a jade workshop where we learned about the history and craftsmanship of jade, and we had the opportunity to see and buy some beautiful pieces. The tour was incredibly convenient, with hotel pick-up and drop-off included, making the whole day completely stress-free. Gao Dapeng also recommended a famous Peking duck restaurant for after the tour. Unfortunately, there was over a two-hour wait, so we couldn’t eat there, but we really appreciated the recommendation. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Beijing. If you book it, be sure to ask for Gao Dapeng as your driver—you won’t be disappointed!
