The Mutianyu great wall was nice and our guide Jacky was prompt, friendly, accommodating, patient and attentive. I would highly recommend Jacky. The lines were painfully long especially for the gondola up to the wall. Jacky gave us lots of warning and it tested all our patience. It’s the consequences of traveling during the Chinese Labor Day holidays May1-5.
Picked up from hotel at 6am and told that they had changed the plans. We were taken to the wall but not the correct wall and experience as mentioned. Refused to refund the cost of the extra experiences we paid for such as cable car/slide and even made us pay more to the driver!! Avoid this operator at all cost and use another company. Conversation between agency and us dried up very quickly of the mention of partial refunds! Avoid!!
