Even the theatre where the show took place would have been worth a trip of its own. The performance itself was absolutely fantastic! You even have the opportunity to watch one of the performers make up/costume in advance. What happens during the show then takes you into a completely different world. Whether with or without knowledge of Chinese. I booked a front row seat, which was worth every cent. Those who come to Beijing should definitely go to the Liyuan Theater!
