Two versions to choose: (1)Morning tour makes it easy to hike all the way in daylight; (2)Sunset tour makes it more flexible, no need to get up early, enjoy the sunset at Jinshanling Great Wall, necessarily avoid the traffic and crowds and hot air in summer. Special Points: Have the Great Wall to yourself. Hiking for about 6-7km in 3-4 hours on the Great Wall of Jinshanling.

Pick-up point: exit C of subway station Dong Zhi Men of Line 2 & Line 13 & PEK Airport Express. Pick-up time for Morning tour: 8:00 a.m. estimated return time: 17:00 (to the pick-up point) Pick-up time for Sunset tour: 11:00 a.m. : November, December, January. Estimated return time: 20:00 (to the pick-up point); 11:30 a.m. : October, Febuary; Estimated return time: 20:30 (to the pick-up point); 12:00 p.m.: September & March; Estimated return time: 21:00 (to the pick-up point); 12:30 p.m.: April & 10 Aug - 31 August; Estimated return time: 21:30 (to the pick-up point); 13:00 : 1 May - 9 Aug. Estimated return time: 22:00 (to the pick-up point); Itinerary: After the pick-up, it takes two hours to drive there. Enter from the east gate of Jinshanling Great Wall, and hike to the west. For sunset tour: watch the sunset at General’s Tower. End from middle gate. Hiking is 6-7km from east to middle gate. Drive back to the pick-up point in the city. Please take food & drink.

Do the sunset tour- it is truly magnificent. My friend and I went with driver Jackie, and it was an incredible experience. The views are unbelievable, and this section of the wall isn’t busy so you can experience everything without a huge crowd. We had time to explore, hike, and enjoy the views and met up for a drink at sunset. The small group of 5 made logistics and transportation easy as well.
Incredible tour, highly recomend. Easy meeting point in Beijing. Convienient stop before the wall to get drinks etc. Walk itself was breathtaking, yes a little more steep and challenging than imagined but worth every minute. Plenty of time on the wall itself, not rushed or anything, relaxed pace. Only saw a handful of other tourists on the wall, very quiet. Would go every weekend if I could!

This tour was amazing, we went for sunset and there was no one else at the Wall! Our guide Jackie was amazing and it was very clear where to go. I’d highly recommend this if you are happy to do some walking and want a quiet and special experience!
Fantastic trip to the Great Wall. Jackie was friendly, efficient, and on time. Smooth trip both directions and we ended up with almost 4 hours on the wall. Can’t recommend this enough!
The Jinshaling section tour was spectacular! The view at dawn was very beautiful. There were very few people in the place and it was possible to take advantage of the wall over about 3 hours.
Absolutely fabulous best time ever guide was fantastic. Fully recommend this tour definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Beijing.
