Not as expected!

We were arriving via cruise ship. The tour said it began at 8am. We rushed off ship to learn we were leaving at 9:00. The van was very noisy. The stop at food market was a joke. Went to our lunch location where the were many other parties eating. Was very noisy and challenging for some of our older participants. We were overtime on tour and were late getting back to ship. Would not recommend Bums on Seats. The actual tour provider.

Operator response

Hi Kimberly, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered, especially with the pickup timing, vehicle comfort, and the challenges faced by members of your group. We understand how stressful timing can be for cruise passengers, and being late returning to the ship is certainly not the experience we want for our guests. We apologise for the confusion around the start time, the condition of the van, and the disappointment with the food market and lunch stop. Your feedback is important to us and will be reviewed carefully so we can address these concerns and improve our service moving forward. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your honest feedback.

Good but not great

Good day out. Branco arrived on time but was a man of little words. We would have liked a little run down of the day, and some light commentary about the area, history etc. We got the odd snippet of information in Barossa but not really. Mainly transport to the wineries only. He was lovely gentle soul and we were very appreciative of him dropping us off in town as opposed to the port. The wineries were fine but nothing special eg Keebrook tasting was simply in the back of a cafe in town.. not a cellar door at the winery itself as you would expect. We would have e loved maybe 1 less winery to stay a little longer in a picturesque setting. That said.. a nice day out but have had better wine tours

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased you enjoyed the day overall and appreciated Branco’s care and flexibility. We’re sorry the commentary and winery experience didn’t fully meet expectations, and we value your suggestions as we work to improve future tours.
