Bamboo River Rafting in Ocho Rios
Description
Travellers should book this tour once in Jamaica. Based on the fact that the rapids aren't that great and the water is very shallow and close to the shoreline. Each Bamboo Raft accomadates 2 adults and based on the weight they may accomadate a third person. If you are a group of persons you can cruise side by side to capture your group photos and videos. If you are adventurous your Captain will teach you how to steer the raft for a minute or two.

Pickup Locations & Times
We pickup all travellers from their Hotel , Villa, Condos and guest house Lobby in the Ocho Rios and Runaway Bay Areas only. For cruise ship passengers we pickup from the Ocho Rios cruise ship port only. Port pickup instructions. Pick Up From The Ocho Rios "UDC Port and Reynolds Cruise ship Port (1)After leaving the ship, please make your way outside the port lobby then take right. (2)proceed through the security gate. (3)continue walking along the walking path for about a minute. (4)look straight ahead you will see your driver waiting for you with the "Coopa Tours" sign along with your name. It's about a 5 minutes’ walk in total. Pick Up From The Ocho Rios "Reynolds Pier": (1)After you cruise ship docks. You will make a one minute walk to a small bus park on the port. (2)You will now be able to see the MAIN ROAD from this location . Look ahead through the fence separating the port from the MAIN ROAD you will see your driver with the Coopa Tours sign along with your name. If you are having difficulty locating your driver call the telephone number on your conformation ticket.

I had a great time with my tour guide he was very knowledgeable and very patient with us he answered every question we had and made us feel welcomed i personally had bad experience with your guides but with Courtney from Coopa tours he was very professional i definitely and i mean definitely recommend one thousand percent thank you Coopa Tours for a great experience!!

This was a great experience. Our driver was amazing. He gave us a guided tour as we drove to the rafting location and provided information on what to expect during the rafting experience. Our bamboo rafting guide was Shadow and he did an amazing job. He also provided great information about the Ocho Rios area. The massage was relaxing and he played our preferred genre of music. Safety was Shadow's top priority during this experience. When the rafting experience was complete, our driver provided time for shopping and lunch. We were very relaxed during this tour and it didn't take 5 hours like most tours.
I Don’t swim and Shadow with Shadow tours and Our driver Courtney took great care of us. Shadow explained the rules and assured us we was safe. The message was great. The ride alone was an amazing experience

My first time in Ocho Rios, and one of the activities was bamboo rafting with Coppa Tours. Our driver was Courtney, he showed up in time and cared for us whole time by making us feeling safe and welcomed. We did an 1h of bamboo rafting with Shadow, while on tour he made sure that we were protected, he kept us entertained and engaged with his sense of humour and free expression. I really enjoyed this experience and look forward to seeing them in the future.

The vendors on the end of the river came on strong, they put souvenirs on you forcing tourists to to buy, having overpriced to rip tourist off.
Courtney with Coopa Tours was an amazing guide. Shadow our guide for the bamboo rafting was also great, entertaining, and personable. Communications with Coopa Tours was excellent before and during the excursion! Highly recommend!!!
