Riad was an excellent tour guide. Very informative and helpful. Really friendly and knowledgeable. He knew the answers to all the questions. We saw the best Baku has to offer - old and new. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it.
Our tour was with Gamer. She made the tour a great experience with her calm exciting explanation, jokes and guidance. 10/10 I recommend her and the tour.
I did this tour while on a quick solo trip to Azerbaijan and it was really fun and informative. My guide Azay was a great conversationalist - I learned a lot of interesting facts about the history and culture of Azerbaijan, and also got some good local tips for things to see and do for the rest of my trip! We were able to see most of the major landmarks during the tour, and the city is especially spectacular by night (and also much cooler, since my visit was in summer). A perfect way to kick off my trip!
Wow! Indeed, Azay is one of our best guides. Thank you for this detailed review!
I cannot begin to recommend Baku Tours enough! They are so communicative and friendly and I was really lucky to have Arif as a guide for the evening tour of Baku; not only did we see of the sites but I also learned a great deal about contemporary Azeri culture and we had really great conversations. I also did a second tour visiting sites like Yaner Dag and it was simply amazing! Take one of their tours - you won’t be disappointed and I am really grateful for Arif’s expertise!
My guide was a University student. He was excellent in sharing the history of Azerbaijan and provided a good perspective of how the younger generation view the nation and its society.
Had a few hours to spare last night and decided on a walking tour. It was scheduled at 7pm but unfortunately i was late due to traffic which i have not factored since it was my first time in Baku. But Baku tours was considerate and did not cancel, instead they moved it to 8pm. I met my tour guide Arif and he was very young but very knowledgeable in history and showed me around as was in the tour agenda. I would like to commend Arif for a job well done. He is articulate, considerate and likeable. I enjoyed the casual night stroll. Baku is an amazing city. I will certainly recommend this tour to my friends.
This was a very fun and informative walking tour. Thanks to Heydar for being the best local guide. He gave complete information. I'd recommend this walking tour to anyone who wants a taste of the real city.
Our guide Azay was really friendly, met us in time, didn't mind waiting for one of us who was late. We had a great walk around the beautiful night Baku and heard many great stories. Perfect English and also other languages Azay knew. Could not imagine a better guide for night stroll around city!
Thanks Arturas for this lovely feedback! I'm happy you enjoyed your time with us ;)
I think our guide was called Shahil. He was amazing. His enthusiasm for Baku and its architecture was infectious. He was very informative and interesting. It was a great way to orientate ourselves in Baku so that we could wonder around on our own the next day.

This was a VERY good tour. I was lucky enough to have 1 guide to myself as no one else signed up. Her name was Aydan and she was very informative. So much knowledge of her city. I highly recommend. Thumbs UP
