Excellent tour! Marc was am amazing guide. We had so much fun. Be prepared for a lot of walking (obviously) and not many places to sit. Highly recommend!

Not worth the money

Our guide was a lovely lady, but there was nothing to see except the exterior of the papal palace, the famous Avignon bridge from a distance, & the modern garden. I didn’t learn anything new. I’m very saddened by the crazy cost of this excursion that also ended early :( I will contact AMEX and see if a “forced” refund is at all possible.

Operator response

Hello Nina, we are sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied, but I think that you expected something that we do not provide, and the description of the tour is what you had with the licensed tour guide Isabelle. Regards

Avignon Walking Tour

The tour was ok. Guide didn’t have a story to tell, seemed like she had no plan. Nice enough person with some interesting commentary, but no real passion/ enthusiasm for the subject and overall a marginal experience, especially for the price.
