Excellent tour. Our tour guide, Nancy, was a wealth of knowledge. Also provided great recommendations along the way. Highly recommend the tour and tour guide.
It was a lovely day rich with cultural information as well as geographical points of interest. The Maori Experince was very moving and well done
It was an amazing experience of food and culture and our driver Jon engaged with us on so many levels sharing New Zealand and other very interesting topics of interest for us all. We would highly recommend him as a driver.
Our tour guide Simon went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout the entire tour. His knowledge of the area was impressive, and he shared so many interesting facts and insights along the way. He also took us to a fantastic restaurant that we thoroughly enjoyed. Simon was professional, respectful, and truly made our day special. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch tour experience!
Henrik was very knowledgeable of the culture and Auckland history. We had a very pleasurable time and would recommend this for a more focused and intimate tour.
Geoff was a great guide for us and took us to caves, Māori history, and hot geysers Taught us New Zealand history and we had a nice quiz of the history in the end
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We’re thrilled to hear that you had a fantastic time exploring Rotorua and learning about New Zealand's rich Māori culture with Geoff. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the caves, hot geysers, and the history lesson – and the quiz at the end sounds like a fun way to wrap up the tour! We’re so glad you chose us for this adventure and look forward to welcoming you on future journeys!
Warren was a great guide and was willing to adjust to our interests while staying within the set time limits. The Maori experience at the war memorial museum was the highlight of the tour for us. Seeing the city from the last viewpoint was fantastic, could have skipped one of the others. Would have liked to have gone over the bridge to a viewpoint on the other side but we ran out of time.
We had a fantastic time, Warren was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and fun. We learned to only ask the questions he knew the answer too and took us to all the places to take in the beauty of New Zealand and learn the culture of the land.
Thank you for the 5 star review of Auckland and Beyond Tours.

Thank you for recommending Private Shore Excursion in Auckland. We have designed this tour to be a unique and memorable once in a lifetime experience. Visiting off the beaten track spots, hidden gems of Auckland that no other tourists get to experience on the daily city tour or big buses. We truly showcase the culture of our local iwi (Maori tribe) and highlight what's unique and valuable to our city. With over 50 Volcanoes in Auckland and more sail boats per head than anywhere else in the world, Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) is the hub of tourism in New Zealand and a wonderful destination for visitors to the Southern Hemisphere.
