Absolutely prefect!!! Go at your own pace… stop and explore… pick up where you left off!!! So informative about the history and the area!!! It’s a MUST DO experience!!!
The audio doesn’t go based off your gps so it tends to go too fast or too slow. So it’s easy to get lost or have to rewind. Otherwise it was a great, easy tour.
I started using the app but I think it hiccuped because it was a very short tour. When I got back to the hotel and reviewed the itinerary, the app had skipped a majority of the planned stops.
This is simply an app that you download and it walks you through the town. I had a day and I was by myself, so it was fun to do. I would not recommend it with a group as you should each listen alone. It was a nice tour of the city With historical facts. The directions are easy to follow. I would recommend it if you want a quick tour of the city with a little bit of history.
I purchased tour for Asheville and discovered the App where there are guides for a lot of places. I tried to purchase few more guides through app but unfortunately in vain… Would be good is I could
It didn’t work at all. We reached the starting point, and the virtual guide sent us to another spot a few blocks away. At this second spot, we were told to return to the starting point. Then, back to the same other spot again. And once more, to the starting point. After that, we gave up and wandered around downtown without any input from the guide on the phone. A completely useless app with confusing instructions.
Super fun! Easy to follow. Learned a lot and popped into a few shops. Would be fun to do with family, friends or solo. I would do another one in the next city I visit.
This is a really good tour! You go at your own pace and get to see the historic places of Ashville down town. It was very interesting!
Difficult connection-I would recommend for solo traveler only as it is difficult to hear, find the spots and deal w walking in traffic sharing a device-will not Do this kind of tour again. That is my preference. The Viator portion was good.
The price is right and the host speaks clearly. The GPS feature is also helpful. I got lost a few times and wore myself out backtracking because I was on foot but all in all a good experience. I would recommend it.
