The walking tour showed a lot of Asheville that we may have missed walking around on our own. Our guide was knowledgeable about the very interesting history of Asheville and helpful to point out good places to eat and shop.
Tevy was well-informed and had a good sense of humor which made the tour more interesting. We had a good time!
Be prepared to be left on the other side of downtown & find your way back to where the tour began. Otherwise, the tour was great. Lots of good information and interesting stories.
We truly enjoyed our history walk with Tebby. We learned so much about Asheville and her history, and Tebby knew it all! It was a delightful two hours that I'm really glad we did.
A lot of easy walking involved. Very detailed information on the development of Asheville, could have gone on longer but I was starting with a sinus headache.
Great tour w Mary and learned so much about the history and architecture of the city and the roots of its arts culture.
Enjoyed our morning walk through town. My guide Tebbe was knowledgeable and friendly, knew the area well. Excited to try out some of his dining suggestions.
It was a great way to get a little deeper, foundational knowledge about Asheville at the beginning of our trip.
Had a great time and learned a great deal about Asheville. Wish I would have done earlier in my trip as additional areas of Asheville could have been explored.
We are so glad you enjoyed the tour and appreciate the guidance to take the tour early during a visit. We love to be a first stop and help set visitors up for a great time in Asheville.
This is a 2 hour walking tour that covers the history of Asheville through its buildings and neighborhoods. Our guide was lively and fun and knew how to present the material so that those who knew nothing about the social and political history could follow and those who knew a fair amount were delighted by the new information. The walking part was not strenuous and the sites were charming. Highly recommended!
