Visit to the archaeological museum of Naples with a very knowledgeable and passionate guide, Grazia d'Agostino, who provided explanations in the historical context, particularly the history of Herculaneum and Pompeii, allowing us to appreciate the masterpieces even more.
Our guide Nicoletta was very good. The museum is wonderfull.
A wonderful tour with a super knowledgeable, informative and engaging guide, Gennaro, who was very thorough in his descriptions of the exhibits. The museum was so big that there was no way we could have known where to start and what to see on our own especially considering the short time we had. Gennaro guided us through the highlights efficiently and made sure we saw some of the most interesting and important exhibits of the museum including the Farnese Bull and the Farnese Hercules plus the many interesting artifacts collected from Pompeii. We really enjoyed the tour.
A pleasure to do. One of the meillo tours I did. The museum is beautiful but the essential state guide to have this exceptional experience. Thank you so much
The Museum of Naples is definitely worth a visit. The exhibition was filled with meaning thanks to Joice, our guide. Joice introduced us to and discovered the beauty of some works, making everything very interesting, thanks to her preparation, her expertise and her great experience combined with a pinch of irony. Careful and shrewd girl. It guided us, enriching the historical and archaeological news with stories, myths and legends that interested even the youngest visitors. Visit definitely to be recommended, Joice package included! Beautiful experience in this sunny day of Neapolitan Easter dj.
Our guided tour of the Archaeological Museum of Naples, with Mimma Macrí , was fantastic! We were able to appreciate the priceless treasures kept inside the Museum thanks to the passion, preparation and sympathy of Mimma, who knew how to involve us without ever boring us! Thank you! Naples museum houses many of the treasures and artifacts from the Pompeii and Herculaneum excavations. As it also has other collections we opted for a two hour guided tour to focus on Pompeii and Herculaneum and were so grateful we did because our guide, Annalisa, from Askos tours was wonderful. Her delightful friendliness was matched by her knowledge of the exhibits and real enthusiasm for showing them to us. She supplied excellent information but also gave us time to look at our own pace. We appreciated what we saw so much more because of her input and unreservedly recommend both this tour and Annalisa as a guide to anyone visiting the museum.
Nicolette was wonderful. Her knowledge of the museum was only exceeded by her presentation of the history that comes with it.
Here you can actually see the real and daily life of people 2000 years ago. Their technology and knowledge if far from what we expected. So much incredible art pieces. The museum is one of the best I ever visited. Can’t be missed.
Our tour guide Laura was amazing. Next, I wanted to focus on the Pompeii collection, it is amazing. The mosaics are unbelievable, to think that some were made before Christ and in such pristine condition. That they had medical instruments was very interesting. The Farnesi collection of jewels was beautiful and finally the largest sculpture made of a single block of marble. Originally made by the Greeks "borrowed" by the Italians and apparently isn't going back. If you miss this, you'll be sorry.
Thank you William !
