We had already visited the hammam in Granada and were thrilled. That is why we booked the Hammam Al Andalus Kessa and relaxing massage in Málaga again with high expectations. Al Andalus Kessa and relaxing massage booked. Before the appointment, just as in Granada, I had requested a male masseur asked, which was not a problem there either. Unfortunately, our visit to Málaga was the opposite of Granada. The ambiance was exceptionally beautiful and the staff friendly. We had barely arrived and were immediately led to the massage, where we were received by women. Without devaluing the women, what if women do not want to be massaged by men? The massage was a light stroking, therefore ineffective. Unfortunately, we were fobbed off with excuses. At the end of our stay, we looked for towels after showering in vain, but unfortunately we did not find any. So we had to put on our clothes while wet, and all that for a high price. We will never come back here again.
Highly recommend. Wonderful experience. Would go again.
A truly relaxing experience. After running around for 2 days, the spa was exactly what we needed to unwind and relax. The massage was amazing (wish I booked for a longer massage) and the bath house was top tier. The staff was also very accommodating and kind. I will definitely come back.
What a great little find! Looks little when you walk up to the building but what a fantastic beautiful facility! They were very kind to us. Pedro walked us around, showed us everything we needed to know. Set us up in the tubs and told us someone would come and get us for our massages. The three other people I was with all had a 30 minute massage. I had a 15 minute massage and a 15 minute scrub, which was wonderful Nando did a great job! We wish we could find one in another town that we’re going to on our trip but unfortunately no. We will definitely go there again when we come back to Malaga Spain. There were three different hot pools. There was a marble, hot stone, a wet sauna, and a cold plunge, which was perfect when you were getting warmed up. They also had unlimited hot tea and water.
Hammam Al Ándalus Málaga offers an experience that is truly out of this world — a masterclass in relaxation and ritual. From the moment you enter, the atmosphere transports you, with serene lighting, calming aromas, and a sense of timeless tranquility. The 60-minute Arab bath circuit is beautifully designed, allowing you to move seamlessly between temperatures and fully unwind. The 15-minute kessa treatment on the hot stone bed was exceptional — a deeply purifying and invigorating ritual that left a lasting impression. This was followed by a 15-minute relaxing massage, delivered with remarkable skill and care. The therapist was among the very best I’ve experienced, striking a perfect balance between technique and intuition. Every element felt intentional, restorative, and expertly executed. An extraordinary experience that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking both relaxation and authenticity in Málaga.
The place is very beautiful and the atmosphere is very evocative. It was a very relaxing and invigorating experience.
This was a beautiful spa that was well-organised so that you could switch off. The 15min massage was great and there were lots of different pools to relax in, in a beautiful setting. There weren't too many people in there at once and the facilities are excellent - there were even straighteners, hair dryers and deodorant!
Im here every time im in Málaga, like every 2,3 months for last 2,3 years for nice relaxing 'me time'. Its the best place to rest, relax and forget about out side world. Starting from welcoming front desk personnel, through all explanation a whole process, till all amazing group of people who do the massage- everyone is jusg incredible. Last time i had Veronica who's done my massage. She was so good, very experienced, so spot on with all my body pain. I feel so much better now. She was just absolutely brilliant - Veronica MUCHAS GRACIAS!👌🌺🥰 In general - i cant recommend this place more, go in and I bet you will be back again (just like me!!) !!!🌺🌺🌺
Beautiful atmosphere, exceptional massage
My boyfriend booked here for my birthday. It’s in the centre of Malaga not far from the cathedral so it’s easy to get public transport to it. Staff very welcoming when we went in and explained thoroughly the process. We had a 15 minute exfoliation followed by a 15 minute massage each which was lovely. If you’re sun burnt it’s best to avoid the exfoliation. The two pools were lovely - one hotter than the other and I loved the star ceiling. Staff are attentive and will tell you to be quiet if you’re talking too loudly, or talking at all. You must whisper and I thought that was great so that yourself and others can properly relax. The hot tea available was lovely also. Everything is to a high standard. Mood lighting throughout, clean, authentic looking. Changing rooms also great with good quality shampoo, conditioner and shower gel plus GHD hair dryers and straighteners! I’ve been to many spas in England and they are just not up to this standard. I was very impressed. Left feeling so relaxed, ready to walk back out onto the streets of Malaga.
