Travel the beautiful southcoast of Jamaica. This is a two hours drive tour that takes you through three Parishes in the heart of Jamaica, where you will get to see the beautiful scenic countryside of the Island, along with the people and our way of life in these communities, we also travel the 2.5 mile long archway of bamboo that line both sides of the road and stop for picture, then on to Tour the Appleton Estate distillery, a 271 year old Rum and sugar factory built in 1749, famous for the Appleton White rum, the Appleton VX, and Appleton Gold rum, then by now you should be hungry, so the next stop is Floyd's Pelican restaurant and bar located in a 10 minute bout ride in the caribbean sea for some real Jamaican lunch.

The Appleton Estate distillery is the oldest on the Island and the producer of the finest rum here in Jamaica, you will be given a tour of the factory see how the donkey was used to grind the cane to modern machinery, taste the rum we have to offer and more.
Floyd's Pelican bar is a unique beach bar and restaurant situated in the middle of the ocean, you can only get there by boat. Enjoy a cold red stripe beer while enjoying real Jamaicans food.

We truly had a memorable experience. and got to our destinations safely! Erroll is a one of a kind guy, and went out of his way to provide a great time for our family. The only thing I wish we had realized was that for this price - the admission to other entries are not included. This was our fault for not fully reading and understanding - this is essentially just paying for the transporation to these places.
For years I have always wanted to see a how rum was produce, I went with esteen tour on there Appleton rum tour, it was a two hour tour but we were able to experience the real Jamaica. It was a game changer to see this seventeen century estate, then it was on to the pelican bar in the middle of the Ocean. I truly enjoyed this tour.
Errol was fab and we would highly recommend this guy for all your tours whilst in Jamaica. Genuine guy and nothing was too much trouble. He arrived on time and took us on our excursion in comfort. Highly recommend and will deffo use again
For those people that want to get out of their hotels and experience the authentic culture of Jamaica, with a blend of the countryside, learning the history of the Island, taking a tour of an iconic rum factory and exploring a hidden gem - a restaurant-bar built in the middle of the ocean, then I recommend this excursion to the Appleton Rum Estate and Floyd's Pelican Bar for you. I traveled with my family of four, and Errol our driver took us through four Jamaican Parishes (St. James, St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland and Hanover). Each parish has a unique history which Errol spoke about during the van ride; my mother and stepdad were very pleased with Errol's level of knowledge of all the areas we traveled through. Most of the ride was a bit bumpy because the pavement of the streets in the countryside is old, but Errol was quite aware of this and drives in a graceful way, circumventing any major bumps along the way. The price of the tour per person covers only round-trip transportation so you want to make sure you bring cash for the entrance fees for the rum estate, the boat ride to the bar, and for food/drinks at the restaurant bar. Each member of my family thought the value of the experience was easily worth the prices spent!
Errol was the best tour guide ever. He introduced us to the real Jamaica. He took us off the beaten path and introduced us to what makes Jamaica wonderful.

Errol is one of the best tour guides I've ever had. He gave the best tour of Jamaica that I could have asked for. I would recommend him to anymore. The tour of Appleton Estate was wonderful.
Did not include the actual rum tour was only the cost to get there and back…so the fact that is says Rum Tour is very misleading. Was disappointed in that fact. Also car rides was very uncomfortable aside from the roads being very windy the driver would do a lot of hard stopping with the breaks which made it a very sickening experience after drinks from tour.
Hi Lanette, I am sorry that's the way you felt has i had explain to you even before we left the hotel that because the roads was kind a winding and narrow and bad in some area that the ride maybe a bit rocky. and remember that because you had a little bit too much to drink, the ride back was a bit unstable for you. it was also in the list of not included, that the entrance fee was not included.
Errol was brilliant! It was great to have a knowledgeable local take us around the island. He provided us with some drinks, got us to our destinations and took us to get some amazing food! Will definitely use Errol again!
