Great start to our Criuse

Sam was a great guide. The excursion gave you a nice added experience instead of just driving to our cruise ship!

Good if you want a stop on the way to Whittier

The drive was beautiful, and our driver was knowledgeable, but the sanctuary itself was underwhelming.

It was a great way to get to the cruise from Ankorage. The conversation was great and we had plenty of time there. We stopped alongside a glacier on the way and had priority in the line through the tunnel. Sam, our guide, was excellent!

Excellent experience

This was an excellent experience! When we first booked our Alaska cruise, we were dismayed that the train to Whittier had sold out. After some searching we found this tour, which included a stop at the Alaskan conservation center. We loved it! 1) our tour guide Sam was the best! He gave us such good information all throughout the tour. Loved it. He also gave us some good background on the conservation center. The views on the way to Whittier were excellent and Sam gave us a very good lesson in science and history. 2) the bus was on time and very comfortable 3) we were not cramped on the bus, All in all this was a great tour and a great way to get to the cruise port.

Great Experience Even in the rain

Our driver’s native Alaskan so we learned more about the area and their lives. Our driver’s really thoughtful - he drove us around first in the rain so we at least got to see everything.
