We definitely recommend...

We definitely recommend this experience of traveling from Anchorage to Seward. Everything was seamless right from booking to pickup. Frequent messages were sent for coordination. Trip included detailed guided tour of Anchorage, wildlife center and guided messages and scenic stops and lunch stop all the way to Seward. Highly recommend this to travel to Seward

Operator response

Thank you so much for your review! We're thrilled the Anchorage-to-Seward journey lived up to expectations from booking through drop-off. It's great to hear the wildlife center stop, scenic stops, and lunch break all added to the experience that's exactly the pacing we aim for on this route. We'll be sure to share your kind words with the guide and coordination team. Thanks again for choosing us, and we hope to host you on another Alaska adventure soon! Warm regards, James and Jen

Good way to get to Seward

We saw several sights, but we were rushed and didn’t get to do the hike to Byron Glacier. Earthquake Park could have been skipped. We spent too much time at Buloga Point. We didn’t see any whales.

A Perfect Day

Our private tour from Anchorage to Seward with 10 people was absolutely wonderful. Our guide, Elizabeth, was fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun. The special lunch in Whittier was a lovely surprise, and the hike to the glaciers was the highlight of the day. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt well taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend this experience!”

So much more than expected!

This was the best unexpected surprise! Stephanie was knowledgeable and friendly. We saw more than I expected, which included a fairly level walk/hike to just below Byron Glacier. It was a small group too. So much better than a bus directly from Anchorage to Seward. Well worth the price!

Excellent guide!

This is not just a transfer, it's a tour with stops. If you are a cruiser, please don't take this tour is you have no interest in these stops, book the direct transfer, it's cheaper. Don was an awesome guide and we thoroughly enjoyed everything he shared with us. The place we stopped for lunch was amazing and we enjoyed each stop. We unfortunately did not have time for the hike to the glacier. Our tour only had 6 people so it felt very intimate. It was unfortunate that 2 of those folks didn't seem very interested in the tour. They didn't listen to the guides instructions at stops and were talking and playing videos or music on their phones while Don was speaking. I also thought they were condescending to the server at the restaurant, but he handled it like a professional as I'm sure they get these types frequently. We still had a great time, just required some effort to ignore them and connect with the other 2 guests who were delightful. Would take this tour again!

Our Alaska tour to Seward.

Geoff Rockwell was our guide for the day from Anchorage to Seward. We were lucky enough to get a tour with just my husband and I and Geoff!! He went out of his way to make sure we experienced Alaska at its finest. We did not just go on a tour, we got off the beaten path and saw things that most tours do not! He grew up in Anchorage and therefore knows the area and all the prime spots to see! He went above and beyond to make sure we had an experience of a lifetime and WE DID!! If you are looking for someone to go out of their way to give you memories- book with Geoff!! Small group is the best though. He is an amazing guide but an even more exceptional person with stories to share. Thanks Geoff for making our first day in Alaska amazing.

Ship transfer tour

We booked our tour through Tripadvisor from the ship/port in Seward to the Ted Stevens Airport. Our driver Don did an excellent job. We were texted the night before that the driver would call in the am . He did in fact call and guide us to his van in the lot. We had a very nice Mercedes van (easy transfer). Don did a great job accommodating the group based on weather and items of interest. He had facts along the way the described the history of the area. He dropped us off for a lunch at an excellent spot in Whittier by the port. We had an excellent day seeing glaciers, bears, moose and beuatiful lakes and highly recommend over the cruise ships transfer and tour(talked to friends and Viking tour was lame and dropped that in Anchorage 9 hours before their flight). We had a late flight, Don made us the last drop and we had time to have dinner and then get to our flight. The drive from Seward to Anchorage is about 2- 2.5 hours and we spent the day sightseeing and then were transferred to the airport in Anchorage.
