ABSOLUTELY wonderful! Our favorite part of Anchorage. They were so knowledgeable and kind and the dogs were great! We hope to go back again if we come back to Anchorage and highly recommend!
Robert and Jae have a passion for dog sledding and a love for their dogs that is inspiring. We had a wonderful experience learning about the sport, meeting the dogs, taking a ride on the summer sled, and even got to hold some adorable puppies! They answered all of our questions and brought the sport to life. We would highly recommend for all - kids and adults alike! Fun for all!
This was hands down our favorite part about visiting Anchorage. Robert and Jae were amazing guides to the history of dog mushing in Alaska. The dogs were well cared for and loved, and we were able to pet most of them (including Poke who was our favorite). The race around the track and being able to hold puppies were by far the highlights. If you are visiting Anchorage you need to book this activity.
Wonderful experience, my kids loved it. Robert & Jay explained things patiently.. puppies were so cute! We learned so much about alaskan huskies & also about racing..
Robert and Jay were great. The ride was so fun! Meeting and holding the puppies was a highlight. This was totally worth it.
This was the highlight of our Anchorage trip. We learned so much about the dogs, and the dog racing culture of Alaska. Our ride in the sled around the site was part of their workout for the day- the dogs were so excited about the trip. The puppies were cute and cuddly.
The pups were adorable and you get to hold them. Loved hearing about history of mushing and the dogs also. The dogs do not live at this site. It’s just for the tours. I would have liked to see where they are being raised. It could have been a longer ride, but I understand that the dogs get hot in summer
Great experience. You meet an actual musher and his dogs. Get up close and personal with the amazing athletes.
This was THE highlight of our Anchorage stay! The 2 guides were not only guides, but Iditerod racers! We had a great overview of dog sledding, learned about the breeds of the dogs, then we got to meet the dogs and take a sled ride (on wheels!), whe re the dogs ran their hearts out for us. To top it off we got to hold o e month old sled dogs … VERY cute! I HEARTILY RECOMMEND this tour … it’s well worth the expense!!!
I enjoyed the dog sledding edcucation very much! The owners were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. They were well spoken and gave us a good time.
