Begin your experience at the Oceanix Cancún dock, located at Playa Tortugas (Km 6.5 on Boulevard Kukulcán). You may arrive on your own or book your tour with round-trip transportation from your hotel. Check the list of available hotels on our booking page, and if your hotel is not listed, feel free to contact us directly — we’ll be happy to assist you.
Check-In: Upon arriving at the dock, head to the Oceanix ticket booth to complete your check-in. Simply present your reservation number, and our team will guide you to the waiting area. Our uniformed guides will be waiting for you at the entrance, holding a sign with the Oceanix logo, making them easy to identify. Catamaran Boarding: Once on board, you will receive a brief safety orientation before departure. From that moment on, the fun begins. Enjoy the open bar service and let our crew take care of you throughout the entire experience, ensuring comfort, entertainment, and unforgettable views of the Caribbean.
Snorkeling at El Meco Reef We’ll make a stop to enjoy snorkeling at El Meco Reef, a beautiful site known for its rich marine life and underwater sculptures. Our crew will provide all the necessary snorkeling gear and guide you through the best spots of the reef. Always follow your instructor’s directions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Buffet Lunch in Isla Mujeres After snorkeling, we’ll disembark on Isla Mujeres and head to a local restaurant (Zaza or Ice Bar, depending on the day’s operation), where you’ll enjoy a full Mexican-style buffet. Lunch service starts at 12:00 p.m. and also includes an open bar with national drinks. Swim Stop at the Blanquizal Sandbar During the journey, the captain will make a strategic stop in the crystal-clear Caribbean waters so you can enjoy a refreshing swim at the famous Blanquizal sandbar—a truly unique experience surrounded by turquoise seas. Beach Club Experience You’ll have access to the Beach Club facilities (Zaza or Ice Bar) for 1 hour and 30 minutes, including: Buffet lunch. Open bar. Rest areas. Free Time in Downtown Isla Mujeres: Enjoy free time to explore the charming downtown area of Isla Mujeres at your own pace. Walk through colorful streets, shop for local souvenirs, and take advantage of a complimentary tequila tasting offered as part of your experience. This is your moment to relax, discover hidden corners, or continue exploring the island on your own. Return to Cancún: On the way back to Cancún, unwind as you admire the Caribbean sunset from the catamaran’s deck. An amazing day—and wonderful support from the crew We had a fantastic day with Oceanix and would absolutely recommend the experience. The water was unbelievably beautiful, the snorkelling was amazing, the food was very good, and the crew kept the drinks flowing and made the entire day fun and enjoyable. A special highlight was how well the crew supported my partner, Swetha, during the snorkelling. She is not a confident swimmer, but with a life jacket, a flotation ring and some initial support from me, she was able to get into the water and enjoy the experience. The crew then looked after her throughout the snorkelling and made her feel safe and comfortable. It was wonderful that she was able to participate rather than miss out, and we really appreciated the care they showed her. We also purchased the professional photos. They were expensive, but the photographer captured some genuinely special moments, so we were still very happy that we bought them. We also managed to take plenty of beautiful photos of our own. On Isla Mujeres, we decided to rent a golf cart and travel to the far end of the island. It was an optional extra and not particularly cheap, but we enjoyed it and felt it added to the experience. We shared the cost with another couple we met during the trip, which made it better value—and one of the unexpected highlights was making new friends along the way. Overall, we enjoyed beautiful scenery and culture, amazing Caribbean water, great snorkelling, delicious food, wonderful photographs and a fun atmosphere throughout the entire day. Most importantly, the crew were attentive, friendly and made sure everyone was looked after. A memorable day and one of the highlights of our trip. Five stars from us. A special mention for Fernando, or octopus, he was a wonderful guide and added to our day, along with the captain who was safe and our bartender who always kept our drinks full!!
We had a phenomenal trip with Leo, Armando, and Jose! They were attentive, and so much fun. We had a girls excursion to celebrate a friends birthday and we got to see so much sea life during snorkeling. We saw barracuda’s, stingrays, and so many beautiful fish. The service on the catamaran was amazing! Open bar, and appetizers to nibble on. We had the boat to ourselves and it was truly the perfect day. 10/10 would recommend anyone visiting Cancun!

Very good tour. You have a great time. They are super nice and the truth is that Isla Mujeres is worth it. The snorkeling activity was very good
Said that you'd be greeted with a welcome mimosa once on board, and wasn't. Towel provided, and was not offered a towel (they did refund that part of the cost, but were still wet when we left the beach). Drinks were very watery and had little flavor, nor alcohol. Lunch was good, but once again the drinks were watery. The beach was beautiful! The crew was nice. I have done 3 different Catamaran excursions with viator. This was the worst one for the price. Wouldn't do this one again!!
