Experience of a lifetime thanks to Steven, Ashley and Lillian. Oh and the dogs too! Don’t miss this chance to dogsled and land on a glacier!
Professional and helpful from the pickup by Ashley , sledding with Nat and sensational flying by Steven our Pilot. Ashley even found us a Moose on the way. Helicopter ride up is exhilarating and Steven threaded us above through spaces in the clouds. Dogsledding, the dogs and a bit of driving was great fun. The dogs are hyper friendly and hanging out to run. Steven our pilot then landed us on the undulating wave like part of the glacier. He found a beautiful blue pool of glacier water, it was magic 🤩. Thanks guys
What a bucket list investment! Alaska Helicopter Tours did a wonderful job. Jason-he curried our crew over an hour to the base cabin where we were welcomed by a lovely team prepared to ensure a great experience. Jake- our helicopter pilot flew us to the dog sledding camp and then to a GLACIER! We hiked around for 30 minutes for an unbelievable scene. Jimmy-his humor and quick wit kept us in stitches as we rode dog sleds with his team of Alaska Huskies. Five Stars from the Logan crew from Tennessee
A highlight of our Alaska trip. Great helicopter ride over glacier and lovely stop on glacier. Dog sledding was very fun and unique experience. Even saw puppies! It is expensive but highly recommend if within budget.
My daughter and I were on a father / daughter Alaskan vacation and decided to take the Alaskan Helicopter and Dogsled tour. The experience was amazing. The helicopter flight had breathtaking views and felt incredibly safe. The dogsledding on a glacier checked a bucket list item for my daughter who has dreamt about the opportunity to drive her own sled. The tour was one of the highlights of our vacation and I would definitely do it again. Double thumbs up!
Great experience! The company, staff and pilot were all great to work with! We had to reschedule our trip several times and they were very accommodating. The views and experience were amazing! Definitely worth doing!
I would totally recommend Alaskan Helicopter Tours 1000% to anyone. We did the dog sledding Glacier experience in Palmer, AK. All the staff, especially Andrea was amazing, the pilots, and all those at the dog sled camp did a fantastic job. The glacier viewing was truly an incredible experience our family will never forget . I’d also recommend to book direct with the company .
Weather forecast could hinder your excursion as well as maintenance of the helicopters. However the Staff was great, very accommodating and able to work around our schedule. This is a perfect trip to go on especially if you ever wanted to sled in Alaska on top of a glacier. Excellent excursion!!
Highly recommend this tour to see a beautiful glacier and the dog sledding experience. Put entire trip was smooth and the crew was amazing. Best part petting the baby huskies!
From check in to the final walk up the stairs, the experience was awesome. Smooth check in, a quick safety video, and then getting into the helicopter was fast. The helicopter ride was smooth and the views were out of this world. Such beauty !! We arrived at the dog sleds to so many cute barking dogs... The only thing I didn't like was having to wait 10 mins for the roping of the dogs. This took away from the time with the puppies at the end. The dog sled ride was so much fun!! We sat to ride and got to " help drive " the sled. Overall this tour is well worth the money!!
