A full day exploring some of the most beautiful sites in Japan. The Akiyoshido caves are magnificent and you can reward yourself with a very tasty ice-cream at the end, do many varieties to choose from too. Walking through the graceful red Tori of the Motonosumi Shrine winding down the cliff to the sea is a special experience. Finally there's the scenic Tsunoshima bridge. Each site is special. The tour is well paced with frequent, albeit quick, comfort breaks as the coach travels between the main stops. You do need a reasonable level of fitness to get the best out of the visits are there are many steps involved. Our super guide on the day (Lina) was very engaging and knowledgeable, it was like being shown around by your favourite aunty. Also one of the friendliest coach drivers you'll ever meet. Tips - take plenty of water & snacks to make the most of the time you have. A neck rest if you want to snooze in the coach and good walking shoes.

Leann was a good guide, friendly with a sense of humor. I liked the fact we could explore the cave with her or on our own. She pointed out the mirror image in the water at just the right spot. She provided encouragement when faced with all the steps. The bridges were unbelievable. Breathtaking views from above and what the views were of was great. Bridges were underrated.
