If you are visiting Marseille on a cruise, this tour is an absolute must! Clement picked us up right at the cruise port and returned us to the exact same location, making the entire experience easy and stress-free. The semiprivate tour was the perfect way to experience the beauty of Provence. Clement was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating history and local insights throughout the day. One of the highlights was visiting the Terrain des Peintres (Painters’ Park) in Aix-en-Provence, where Cézanne found inspiration for many of his famous paintings. It is truly a must-see! We also had plenty of free time to explore Aix-en-Provence on our own, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and browse the wonderful farmers market. The balance between guided sightseeing and free time was perfect. Clement’s professionalism, warm personality, and attention to detail made this one of the best excursions of our cruise. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a personalized, relaxing, and memorable day in Provence. Thank you, Clement, for an unforgettable experience!
We enjoyed this tour from the Marseille cruise port where our excellent guide and driver, Paul, met us. He was so knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the entire day. He led us in a relaxed and comfortable pace on a walking tour through the charming city of Aix en Provence and shared much about its history and culture, as we tasted local food and shopping in the markets along the way. Paul drove us to a beautiful view where the artist Cezanne loved to go to paint. We also visited the amazing Basilica Notre Dame de Garde with the most incredible views of Marseille and the Mediterranean. We were dropped back at our cruise ship with time to spare. We highly recommend this excursion and we’re so pleased with this amazing experience. Many thanks to Paul for a wonderful day. .
