Meet your guide in Aguas Calientes or at the train station and travel comfortably to the entrance of the sanctuary. Enjoy a 2.5-hour guided exploration of Machu Picchu, learning about its history, architecture, and Inca culture while visiting the most iconic areas. Tours operate in small groups, allowing for a more personalized and relaxed experience. To access preferred routes such as Circuit 2, booking at least 2 to 4 month in advance is recommended, subject to availability. Our local team assists with tickets, entry times, and logistics to ensure a smooth, well-organized, and memorable visit. NOTE: If online tickets are sold out, and you choose Last Minute Option our local team provides assistance and guidance to get the tickets Locally (May include needing to spend three nights in Aguas Calientes).

Meet your guide at your hotel or the Aguas Calientes train station. take a 30-minute journey to Machu Picchu or meet us in the main square of Machu picchu
This experience begins with a 30 minute bus ride to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival at the main entrance, please present your original passport and go through the security check. Then, enjoy a 20 minute walk to the upper section of Machu Picchu, where your guide will lead you to the perfect viewpoint.
Your guide will lead a 2-hour tour, sharing the rich history of the Lost Citadel. Enjoy panoramic views, explore stone temples and terraces, then return to Aguas Calientes. Last-minute bookings have limited availability. After booking, we’ll confirm which circuits and times are still open. Booking 3 months ahead is recommended to access the best routes. Solo travelers may join groups of up to 4. Bookings of 2 or more get a private guide. Please note that you may get a ticket for a different time slot depending availability. LEGAL NOTICE: Machu Picchu online tickets often sell out months ahead. The Cultural Office in Aguas Calientes releases a limited number for in-person purchase only. If you book less than 5 months in advance you may need to register for the in-person tickets in Aguas Calientes the morning before your tour.

If you booked in advance and already have a hotel in Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes), please send us your train details or hotel information via WhatsApp. Important: If you selected the “Last Minute Ticket” option, it is mandatory to arrive four days in advance. You must arrive between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM to complete the registration and ticket purchase process, assisted by our staff.

I was sold a package for machu picchu that i was not able to use as they sold me an early visitor pass, bit the timing was too close for that. When i asked for a refund the same day, i was told this is not possible. It terrible as i made it very clear to the online agent when my arrival dates were and even confirmed a few time before payment that the tickets would be immediately available.... which they were not

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Willka Travel! From start to finish, their team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We weren’t sure if we’d even be able to get tickets in-person to Machu Picchu since we only new about our trip a few weeks ahead of time, but everyone at Willka was extremely responsive, kept us updated throughout the process, and managed to secure tickets for us right as we arrived in Aguas Calientes. They met us at the train station, guided us to the bus, and our guide met us at the entrance. Our guide, Ulises, was amazing—funny, knowledgeable, and full of great stories. He made the history of Machu Picchu come alive and also took tons of photos of us in different poses with the stunning views in the background. I can’t recommend Willka Travel enough if you want a seamless, stress-free, and truly memorable visit to Machu Picchu!

Perfect tour, from the view, as the schedule, the guide Katy explained very well, took very good photos, and gave us super important tips, and without rush. We love, highly recommend the tour and the guide.
The visit was well organised, while purchasing tickets, few days before they conacted us to provide more information and stay in touch, then when arrived in Aguas Calientes someone met us and provide all details for the next day visit.
