Insa-dong Street is one of the most memorable attractions in Seoul and represents the focal point of Korean traditional culture and crafts. Namdaemun Market is even open overnight, from 11:00pm to 4:00am, and is crowded with retailers from all over the country. Namdaemun Market sells a variety of clothes, glasses, kitchenware, toys, mountain gear, fishing equipment, stationery, fine arts, accessories, hats, carpets, flowers, ginseng, and imported goods.
Step into Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the most enchanting of Seoul’s royal palaces. Built in 1405, this palace was favored by many Joseon kings for its elegant design and seamless harmony with nature. Enter through the grand Donhwamun Gate, cross the stone arches of Geumcheongyo Bridge—the oldest in Seoul—and imagine the footsteps of royalty that once echoed here. Cathy was absolutely wonderful. When the tour management changed my tour at the last minute, I was really disappointed. Cathy immediately noticed and took the initiative to make things right. I had been looking forward to seeing a palace, which was no longer included in the revised tour, and she went out of her way to accommodate my wish. She even stayed overtime to ensure I could visit the palace. The palace tour was great but the Insadong part was short, and the market tour was just 20 mins. I think the tour could have done more in the time available (4 hours). The tour ended in less than 3 hours.

This tour mainly goes to markets, I thought we would be taken to more historical places. We went to 1 palace. Our guide was very friendly and helpful. Just the tour content wasn't right for us.
