Fun and informative tour. Guide was knowledgeable about the area and friendly. Tour was as described and enjoyable.
Had a really fun tour with John! He kept the stories exciting and engaging while showing us a true piece of New Orleans history. Definitely recommend doing this while you’re in town!
We found the tour pretty disappointing. It was really pretty vanilla, containing mostly well-known stories. I’m not sure if what was “adults-only” about. Also, our guide was not engaging, not adding any real punch to the stories.
Excellent tour! Elaine was an amazing guide-knowledgeable, entertaining, and full of fascinating stories. The mix of New Orleans history, ghost tales, and true crime made for a fun & informative evening. She kept the group engaged the entire time and shared details we never would have learned on our own. This was more informative than I thought ot would be rather than a spooky experience. The tour guide did a good job but I expected spookier things rather than just recounting of a few places where bad things happened, historically.
Hi Kelly, Yes! Our tours are in fact informative. Seems like it would be a waste of ours and your time to just make up a bunch of stories in order to scare our guests. That's not why we are in business and we will never be the company that ignores history in favor of fake jump scares. We are sorry that you didn't catch that that's how we do things! Doug was an outstanding tour guide. It was clear that he has thoroughly researched the history and culture of the areas he tours, and his knowledge brought each location to life. He has incredible energy, a great sense of humor, and kept the entire group engaged from start to finish. I especially appreciated the way he spoke about Marie Laveau. He presented her life, work, and legacy with respect, thoughtfulness, and authenticity. His portrayal honored both the historical figure and the cultural significance she continues to hold today.
