Brilliant shore experience from cruise ship. Easy meet up at port entrance. Our guide went the extra mile to show us all over Addo elephant park by car. The elephant walk was in a beautiful private reserve and we were taken around in a classic safari land cruiser by a specialist park guide. Met all our expectations and more.
The guide was fantastic, great tour put together, has responded to all wishes directly. An unbeatable price/performance ratio...
Guide was terrific. But do NOT do this tour if you have been to Kruger. Walking with the giraffes was a waste of money. they drive you round to find the animals then you get out and stand a long way from them. Not walking with them. Elephants could only be found at the water hole. Overall not worth the money.
We were in a group of 4 guests together with our guide. The car was good with big windows and he had cold beverage and snacks for free. He was a charasmatic guide and he tried his best to find us elephants and other animals. We were able to get some great pictures, but there were only a few elephants present at that day. So no groups of elephants for us to see. The Giraffe walk afterwards was different than we expacted. First you go on a nice 4x4 truck and you have a great offroad experience. Than you look out for giraffes and follow them as good as possible through the bushes. The land has a thick bush density, so hard to reach the animals. We expected more giraffe interaction and left this place a bit disapointed. All in all we recommend this tour, but keep you expectations real and be aware that this is not a petting zoo. :-) enjoy
It was very well organized. We had a driver with a car to ourselves. He was very friendly and explained a lot to us. Lunch could have been better. The Giraf walk didn't start until 3:30. We were unlucky: virtually no elephants and hardly any other animals (because of the weather). The giraffes have compensated us.
This combination is a great experience. The Giraffe Walk was beautiful. Being so close to the animals is a unique experience. Our guide Carlin was perfect He provided us with information , drinks, food etc. You can't get better! He took us 5 hours through Addo Park and told us a lot about the animals and nature.
A great experience with our guide Stephard Were first in the giraffe park. On the way out, we already saw a pair of lions. We were able to get to the giraffe within a few meters on foot, what imposing animals. Then lunch with the guide with delicious lambcurry👍 Afterwards to Addo Elephant Park I saw three of the big five. Lions, elephants and water buffalo, and many smaller animals such as warthogs Kudus etc. Even if our English is not quite as good, the guide was able to explain everything well to us and it was a great day with Stephard. Thank you. When we are back in South Africa gladly again
Fantastic day out to see two parks in one day ! Driver Andy and guide Harry where both fantastic , great well worth the dollars and time :)
An absolutely amazing day, fantastic memories and photos of so many wonderful animals and birds Addo Elephant Park. Walking with Giants was a particularly special experience. A big thank you to our Guide Harry and driver Andy, to Wayne and Julian at Bellevue Forest for sharing their Giraffes and knowledge.
What an experience. Coming 10m away from a giraffe. During lunch we were introduced to a typical South African sandwich. And Stafford our guide was very pleasant company, did everything to make it to our liking. Also has a lot to tell us about South Africa. All in all highly recommended.
