We did a private guided tour of the Accademia Gallery and highly recommend it. Skipping the long line alone was worth it, but the real value was in how efficiently we were able to hit all the highlights. It was a good tour with Letty…short and sweet since there isn’t much else to see here other than Michaelangelo’s David. You really don’t NEED a tour guide for this museum, but it was helpful to skip the lines and to get interesting background information on the sculptures.
