I had already done a walking tour, but was disappointed and bought this self-guided tour. Was MUCH better. Helped me ge a better sense of the Old Town area of Funchal. Super easy to download and use.
This was a fairly interesting tour and helped guide us around Funchal to places we might otherwise have missed.
A pleasant and Informative audio tour. The app worked well. My first audioguide, so I think it´s a nice option for solo travellers.
Insightful, fun, and enthusiastic, this tour is a great option for getting the real feel of Funchal. The app is also quite effective. Five stars!
A lot of insightful remarks that spark our interest in Madeira's culture and beauty, enriching the experience. The app was also great, it worked very well!
Great experience with a knowledgeable local guide. Me and my friends enjoyed meeting new places, stories, different settings and landscapes. A very cost effective/ quality solution
This tour with a local was very pleasant and informative! The itinerary included important landmarks but also "low profile places" equally significant. Maybe the Cathedral could have been included in the itinerary, however, we loved exploring new places, ancient streets, wonderful gardens, viewpoints, and walking along the Funchal waterfront and coastline. Lunch was delicious! So, it was a great solution to see the city´s points of interest.
This tour allowed me to stop and look attentively at all the mentioned places without missing any insightful information. Whenever I visit Funchal I always try to look for authentic experiences and, in fact, being guided by a local gives a different perspective of the city. I highly recommend it.
