Travel the Great Eastern Drive to discover Wineglass Bay in Freycinet National Park. For avid hikers, you’ll have up to 4 hours to explore Freycinet National Park at your own pace. Choose from an array of trails, including the Wineglass Bay hike or the challenging ascent to Mt. Amos. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, our knowledgeable guide will lead you on a scenic walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout. This moderate 1.5 hour (return) hike uphill is well worth the effort. After soaking in those magnificent sights, we’ll descend for a leisurely stroll around the Cape Tourville Lighthouse. Then it’s time for a refreshing swim at Honeymoon Bay—a local favorite. To end the day, you will have the opportunity to taste some of Tasmania's freshest seafood at the Freycinet Marine Farm. Enjoy a quick stop at the coastal village of Orford, a takeaway breakfast and an opportunity to pick up some snacks and lunch for your hike are available at your own cost.
If you prefer a more relaxed experience, our knowledgeable guide will lead you on a scenic walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout, where you’ll take in the stunning views. This moderate 40-minute hike uphill is well worth the effort. After soaking in those magnificent sights, we’ll descend for a leisurely stroll around the Cape Tourville Lighthouse, taking in the breathtaking coastal scenery.

Once you’ve worked up a sweat, it’s time for a refreshing swim at Honeymoon Bay—a local favorite. With its orange-capped granite rocks, crystal clear waters, and pristine white sands, Honeymoon Bay offers the perfect spot to refresh. After a swim, you’ll feel completely rejuvenated—and have plenty of stunning photos for your Insta feed!
To top off your day, treat yourself to a taste of Tasmania's freshest seafood at the Freycinet Marine Farm. Indulge in local delicacies like oysters, prawns, and crayfish, and while you're in the area, why not sample one of the region's award-winning wines? Sit back, relax, and enjoy the company of your fellow travelers—there’s something to satisfy everyone’s palate. For those who spent the day hiking, a refreshing drink and a quick takeaway meal will be available to recharge before we head to our final stop. All food and beverages will be at your own expense.

Such a great day trip! Tammy was a hoot - knowledgeable along the way and also made it fun - bonus points for all the chances for toilet breaks (this is so underrated for tours and so appreciated!!). Definetly recommend!

I had a tour to Bruny island with Skye on Tuesday and got her again on Thursday! How lucky, she is just those sweet and cool people that you simply want to be around with. As a hiking lover, I would recommend this tour as they can have at least two options for good hikes. So you would definitely want to bring on your good hiking shoes and outfit. But if you want to go easy, there are also other more relaxing and easy options. I would like to have more this kind of open options tours myself. I did a 11 km loop hike which is not so hard even without a proper pair of hiking shoes. So take a photo of the map before you start and maybe download offline map if you can as the trail to the hazards beach could be sometimes without reception.
