An introduction to the history, process, and tasting of our national drink - whisky - all done in 90 minutes in a unique underground space, recently uncovered, in the heart of the Old Town of Edinburgh. You will have exclusive access to this historical site, taste whiskies from each of the major whisky regions and hear some of the stories about how whisky came to have such a crucial role in our nations history.

Great tour!! Hayley was such a great tour guide.
Haley did a great job taking us through the history of Scotch whisky and the Lost Close tasting location. We had known some of the basics of Scotch previously but having this experience in Edinburgh really brought it all together.
Haley was informative and entertaining! She knew her Scottish and Whiskey history and told it in a very unique way. The underground environment and history was very neat also! Definitely recommend her and this experience!
This was Amazing!! We highly recommend this experience! We had a family group of 5 adults and we all enjoyed getting to learn more about Whisky and the history in this region. We had an incredible guide for this experience and the underground close is a truly unique setting. Highly recommend for a memorable Whisky experience!

A really enjoyable 90mins hosted by the lost close introducing us to a whisky from each whisky region of Scotland. The tasting was hosted by Hayley who was incredible, really funny and knowledgeable - providing a bit of background and context to each whisky and the history of distilling whisky. A well stocked shop too for anyone who found a new favourite tipple.
