Penang Hill is a hill resort comprising a group of peaks near the center of Penang Island, Malaysia. It is located within the Air Itam suburb, 9 km (5.6 mi) west of the center of George Town. Penang Hill is also known by the Malay name Bukit Bendera, which actually refers to Flagstaff Hill, the most developed peak. One of the peaks is known as Strawberry Hill, which was also the name of a house owned by Francis Light, founder of Penang colony.
1. Listed as UNESCO World Heritage Having old buildings more than 500 years old makes George Town rich in history. So it is not surprising that this city received recognition by UNESCO 2. The beauty of architecture and architecture From Chinese temples, old mosques, buildings owned by peranakan baba to the town hall that was once built by the British, the architecture in George Town is interesting and has its own historical value
Penang National Park The Penang National Park spans 1,213ha of land and sea and is used by scientists, researchers, and nature lovers to explore its natural treasures. Penang ... About The Penang National Park spans 1,213ha of land and sea and is used by scientists, researchers, and nature lovers to explore its natural treasures. Previously known as the Pantai Acheh Forest Reserve, this pristine site is known to harbour 417 flora and 143 fauna species.
The Komtar Skywalk is the highest outdoor glass sky walk in Malaysia. It is located at the top of Komtar, the tallest skyscraper in George Town, Penang. The horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge with a glass walkway sits at an elevation of 248.7 metres (816 ft) above ground.
Home to the biggest variety of street food in Penang, Persiaran Gurney’s busy and iconic Gurney Drive Hawker Centre, right beside Gurney Plaza Mall, is a great place to sample some of the best local dishes on the island. We recommend the char koay kak, soft white radish stir-fried with crunchy bean sprouts, chilli, egg and pork lard, which is simply delicious, but also recommended is the barbecue roasting station (particularly the beef meatballs) which will please even the pickiest eater. The cafeteria-style seating is a little cramped, so the first thing to do is to find seats before ordering your food – in fact, copy the locals by standing behind diners who seem to be near finishing, then be ready to grab their soon-to-be-vacant seat.
Batu Ferringhi is a suburb of George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. Located along the northern coast of Penang Island and about 11 km (6.8 mi) northwest of the city centre, it is the prime beach destination in Penang among locals and tourists. To cater to the influx of tourists, several major high-rise hotels have been established along the 4 km (2.5 mi) stretch of beaches. The beach resorts along Batu Ferringhi also offer various water sport activities, such as parasailing. On a clear day, one could get a picturesque view of the Andaman Sea and Mount Jerai, which is located within the neighbouring state of Kedah. In addition, Batu Ferringhi is famous for its night market that offers a wide variety of merchandise and street food.
The temple was constructed in the 1805 to honour Chor Soo Kong (also known as Master Qingshui), a Buddhist monk who lived during the Song dynasty (960–1279) for his numerous miracles and good deeds especially in healing the sick and giving shelter to snakes. When the temple structure was completed in the 1800s, snakes coming from the species of Wagler's pit viper reportedly appeared by themselves.

I personally think going 8-10 tourist spots within a day isn’t possible and I would recommend going alone without acquiring a private tour. This does not include entrance fees and each tourist spot was far from each other. We didn’t complete the penang cable car and didn’t have time to go to Batu Ferringhi but it was still fun
Thank you very much for your honest feedback and for spending the day with us. You are absolutely right that covering many attractions across Penang Island within 8 hours can be challenging, especially during the busy Chinese New Year period when traffic and waiting times are much longer than usual. Our private tours are always flexible, and we adjust the schedule based on real-time conditions to ensure guests enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Although we couldn’t complete Penang Hill and Batu Ferringhi on this occasion, we’re very glad to hear that you still had a fun and enjoyable day. It was truly our pleasure to host you. We hope to welcome you back again in the future to explore the remaining highlights of Penang at a more relaxed pace. Warm regards,
The driver was informed, flexible, and professional. Made great suggestions, on time, and friendly. Strongly recommend private transport for short multi sites visits
Very beautifull day in Penang with Abdul who took us all over the island. Confortable car and clean. Thank you Abdul for this beautiful journey !
We had a great time with our friendly and helpful driver. He told us about the history and culture wich very intersting and took us to to see the sights. Highly recommendable.
Nasir was excellent - patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn’t have asked for a better or more hospitable guide to show us around. We saw all the sights we wanted to experience and ended our Penang trip on a high note.
Nazzer was on time at the hotel and the previous vote via WhatsApp was also very good. Nazzer showed all the sights on the island and also drove to hidden gems and explained everything great. He has fully responded to personal requests. I really enjoyed the day and will do a tour with Nazzer again at any time.
Fascinating place George Town Penang. LOTS to see and do and of course a good guide in imperative. Ask for “boy”. What a lovely man. Great personality, knowledgeable and unbelievably polite with a great sense of humour knows what to see and do, MANY options and most important in Penang “boy” is an excellent driver. What a day out he gave us. He is 5 star plus!
I was nervous booking this as it was the first time I've used Tripadvisor and it was a last minute booking, but I'm so glad that I did. I had a solo tour with a very knowledgeable and flexible guide and was able to really get to know Penang. When we first met, he asked what I was interested in, I told him that I was interested in the history and culture, and he catered my experience around that. It was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see the most out of the city in a quick amount of time.
This tour is a good way to cover a lot of ground in Penang in one day. I had an itinerary in mind, but with heavy rain for part of the day, the driver, Nasir, made helpful suggestions - temples, museums, a mansion, and then several outdoor sights once the weather cleared. It turned what could have been a washout into a full and worthwhile day. Nasir was personable, accommodating, spoke good English, and keep things moving at a comfortable pace. The car was clean and comfortable, which made the ride between stops easy. My advice: request an English-speaking driver, bring cash for site entry, and enjoy.
Our escort was quite friendly and knowledgeable of all the areas and ask our interest before his recommendations. Took us to the areas of interest and gave us fine points on the working of the site ensuring that our enjoyment vice fighting the confusion and fighting long lines
