You need this tour even though it’s not the best. The host is friendly and no issues with that but the city itself doesn’t have much to offer. We arrived on a cruise ship and I believe we only stopped here for the day as the crew members had family (900 family members came on board). The city is crumbling and dirty. I felt like I was in a 3rd world war torn country. We were hounded by beggars everywhere we turned. We wanted to leave the tour and return to the port but we felt it was easier to finish the tour. I would still book this as I wouldn’t feel comfortable seeing this city without a tour guide.
Dear Jennifer. Thank you very much for your review. I would also like to apologize if there were any inconveniences that you encountered throughout the tour. We have worked hard at our best to deliver the most excellent service to our customers, but sometimes there are somethings that left more to be desired. And I have to admit that as a local Surabayan, the quality of living in Surabaya have declined under the current Mayor. In the previous government, all of our Surabaya City Tour expressing their satisfactory about the city. But this factor is honestly beyond our control. Anyway, thank you for trusting us to provide service to you. And hopefully we can meet again, who knows on the Bromo volcano tour. Thank you, Bagus.
