Itinerary
The trip will start at midnight, and your guide will arrive exactly where you want to be picked up. You can rest in the car on the way to the Bromo area. After arriving in the village of Mount Bromo area, you will continue the journey in a 4WD Off-Road Jeep, going through a bumpy road to get to the sunrise point.
We'll use a Jeep (4 WD) to continue the trip so we can appreciate the rough route that circles the hilly region. Next, we will head to Mt. Penanjakan, the best place to enjoy the sunrise view of Bromo. We then went down the hill and passed through the vast stretching sea of sand created by the eruption of Mount Bromo. The trip will take around 30 minutes to reach the summit. You can see Mt. Semeru, the highest mountain on Java Island, as well as the caldera, the Mt. Batok mountains, and the still-active Bromo crater from the peak's rim. After descending from Bromo crater, you are required to make your way to a Hindu temple named Pura Luhur Poten, which is a remnant of one of the Indonesian kingdoms. Then, you can enjoy a traditional Indonesian breakfast at a local restaurant and head to Subaya or Malang.

It was a perfectly organized, amazing trip from the first moment till the last. Mount Bromo is magnificent in the sunrise, from the rim, anytime, anywhere!! Our family had such a memorable experience and are so happy we did this tour. We were tired and just arrived in Indonesia but it was well worth it and the tour group was very helpful and easy to work with. Nadal was our tour guide and made the day very nice. He helped us go to the perfect spot with the perfect timing. We also did Marakaripura waterfall hike which was absolutely amazing. Sandi was our local tour guide and was fun and such a good photographer. Excellent experience, highest recommendation!

Our trek to Mount Bromo with kids turned out to be an unforgettable experience! We visited during the holidays, so it was quite crowded at the main sunrise viewpoint - Kingkong. Thankfully, our guide suggested an alternative - Seruni peak - and honestly, it didn’t feel second-best at all. The view was absolutely stunning, and we got to enjoy the sunrise in a much more peaceful setting. The trek itself was very manageable even and totally worth the early start. Watching the sun rise over the volcanic landscape was magical. A special shoutout to our guide, Alfa, who made the experience even better. We thought it would rain heavily that night, and the next morning I saw on Google that Mount Bromo was expected to have storms and lightning. The admin told us that the weather is always unpredictable and it turned out to be true. Google is not alway true!!. The guided tour to Bromo Volcano was an unforgettable experience!
