Description
This is a small group tour is unique because seeing the lavender fields is an unmissable experience, but also because it lets you go far away from big cities and immerse yourself in nature. We are aware most of the people buy this tour to take pictures, this is why we will spend most of your time in the lavender fields. If you happen to be alone we will offer to take pictures of you in the lavender fields. We also visit a small village of Provence. See beautiful landscapes and have the possibility of buying natural product as lavender honey, syrups, lavender bouquets, almonds, olive oil, directly from the producers. This tour is also unique as our driver/guides particularly kind and safe drivers.

Itinerary
The aim of this tour is to experience the lavender fields of Provence. To do it we will drive to the Plateau of Valensole, that is where most of the fields are located. Here is where the stunning photos of the lavender fields are taken. We will use most of our time, about 1,5 hours in the lavender fields. Some producers have shops and we can stop to have shop opportunities and to also learn about the lavender plantation. Note: The travel time back and forth is 1 and a half hours.
Free time to spend in the charming village of Valensole, the capital of the lavender production. It is possible to visit boutiques selling lavender products, have a drink in a bar, or a lavender ice-cream and have a walk in the village.

Very well thought out itinerary by our guide! We throughly enjoyed the experience- Each field was stunning and the shops and ice cream were delightful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
We had a great tour with Chris to the lavender Fields. This tour is a must when you come to this region. Very beautiful.
We participated in a wonderful tour from Aix en Provence to Valensole. Chris, our guide, was excellent; he took us to the best lavender (and sunflower) fields, sharing various interesting facts about them. Absolutely recommended tour. Thank you very much, Chris :)
Overall this was a well spent day and we were glad to have done it. Positives: [] The fields were absolutely amazing and we enjoyed the stop at the lavender producer and in the small town of Valensole. [] Our tour guide Clement was easygoing and kind and we felt like he really knew where the best fields were. He would say things like, "This one is nice, but there is one with more rolling hills further down the road." Negatives: [] It would have been nice to know in advance that we would be stopping at a boulangerie on the way out of town as we had gotten up early to get something already prior to arriving for the tour. [] Just my opinion - Waters should be provided as a basic staple. We are used to multi-hour tours including water and missed in the listing that it was not included. And I think it was 96 on the day of our tour.
Truly wonderful places. Choosing an organized tour allows access to areas that most people do not know or visit at the best times. Our guide, Silvio, was super nice; he also took us on a tour of a small estate producing lavender, oil, and almond products. The sunset hour is definitely the most magical for postcard photos. Experience to recommend.
Good guide! Made a real effort to take us to beautiful lavender fields and interesting production facilities.
Relaxing drive out to Valensole area to see the fields belonging to the Angelvin family and shop for lavender products/souvenirs at their store. This is not Senanque Abbey!
It is worthwhile to see fields of lavender! You should wear sturdy shoes to walk in the fields. Comfortable can ride.
Although the driver reported sick, the company still try to solve the problem and able to run our tour finally. Lavender distillery visit was great which we got some information about different species of lavender and process of making essential oil. We were lucky to viewed part of the works during our visit. The tour guide was quite experienced, and able to found quiet lavender fields for visit. We appreciate that he helped to take beautiful photos proactively. Due to the temperature raised early this year, we were lucky that we joined this tour before mid-Jul, the lavender just full blossom now.
Visiting the lavender fields was a dream come true! Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable and made the trip and experience very memorable. I especially appreciated being able to visit the distillery so I could purchase direct from the growers. It was hea
