5-Day Private Tour of Guilin, Longji Terraces and Yangshuo

Upon arrival at Guilin Liangjiang International Airport, your guide and private driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you to the city center for hotel check-in at Guilin Universal Hotel. In the evening, follow the guide to Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, the most bustling commercial block in Guilin. Wander around specialty stores and craft shops to experience local street life. Taste Guilin’s most popular snacks such as Guilin rice noodles, osmanthus cakes and barbecue, and appreciate their unique taste and flavor. Next, visit the iconic Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas and admire their lit reflections under the night sky. Then walk to the Ancient South Gate, one of the oldest preserved city gates in Guilin. It features an external stone ramp leading to the city wall, a rare architectural design among ancient city gates in China.

After breakfast, depart for Longji Rice Terraces. Upon arriving at the scenic entrance, take the shuttle bus or walk into the core area. Hike to enjoy the magnificent terraced scenery while the guide introduces its farming culture. Visit famous viewing platforms including Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon and Nine Dragons Guarding the Tiger, and take photos of the stunning terraces and mountain ranges. Explore local Yao villages to learn about their traditions, costumes and dietary culture. Return to downtown Guilin in the evening. Lunch is not included. Located near Yangshuo, Fuli Ancient Town is a historic riverside town with more than 1,000 years of history. Once an important trading port along the Li River, it is known for its traditional architecture, quiet streets and rich local culture. The town is also famous for its fan painting craftsmanship, where visitors can discover traditional techniques and experience the artistic heritage passed down through generations. Yulong River is one of the most scenic areas in Yangshuo and is often regarded as a quieter counterpart to the Li River.
