On this half day tour we will take you you to visit the Mountains. of Câmara de Lobos, 'the sea wolves' lair,' or wanting to explore and discover a beautiful agricultural hidden Madeira, going from sea level to 1000 meters will allow us to have a view over the Nun's Valley from a side were not many see, and go local for a great mountain freshly made poncha.

I vote Edgar for mayor, he has such a clear passion for Madeira and his knowledge of the area takes people to places view visit. We had a great morning, an exceptional tour with a great guide. Book with confidence, your tour will be unforgettable.
Our first time doing a 4x4 trip so we chose a half day trip. We needn't have worried: we got a first class experience. We traveled in an open topped Portuguese Army jeep, upgraded for comfort (including well padded seats!). Tobias was an excellent driver and guide. The open top allowed us to stand (if desired) during the short off road section There was only one jeep (maximum of 8 places), which allowed a more personal touch at the stops - especially at the ponche making stop. By contrast we saw another group with 7 (closed top) vehicles in convoy. The whole trip was excellent value - we'll definitely use this company again.
We were picked up directly from our hotel, which was a great service & took away the hassle of having to get somewhere by a certain time. The trip took us to a lovely little fishing village, before heading up into the mountains, omg - some of the roads are narrow & steep, but fun all the same. We stopped off at some amazing view points along the way, 3000m up! The forest smelt so fresh of eucalyptus & the off-road experience was so much fun, being able to stand up & take in the full experience was amazing! We also stopped off at a local bar to try the Poncha. We ended up at the sky walk which was very well done, views were amazing! Overall a great experience & we met some lovely people too. Our driver was excellent, helping us along the way, explaining details & taking group pics too. Nico was very informative & knew the area well-would definitely recommend! Thank You!!
Excellent trip. Varied and fun. Tobias was a great driver and guide. We loved the off road parts, the fishing village and the hand made drinks in the little cafe. Beautiful viewpoints too. It was a great experience.
We had an amazing day out on our 4 x 4 safari in Madeira for our friends special big birthday. Thiago was our guide and driver and was excellent making it lots of fun and keeping us safe at the same time.

We weren’t sure what to expect and initially booked the 4x4. Was messaged about switching to a minivan for our group of 8, who agreed with the switch. Although Tobias started out a little slow, he really got in his groove and went above and beyond, he was knowledgeable and pleasant and made for an outstanding experience. The island was truly spectacular and highly recommend the tour and Tobias!!
Tiago was our guide and the 6 of us (60 and over) had an awesome trip. Beautiful scenic views and very informative!! Lots of fun on the off road portion of the tour!
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Portugal! Our guide, Tobias, was a great driver and tour guide. He taught us a lot about Madeira life, culture, and farming practices, as well as the local nature. And he kept us safe on the crazy roads we took! I can't say enough good things about this experience.
It’s a fantastic day out, our first introduction to Maderia, and Tiago our guide did it in style with a 4 wheel drive. So worth every moment, on the dirt track and on the beaten track, he shared local knowledge of agriculture, tourism and local knowledge. He’s a true gentleman, so accommodating, to our needs.
