We had our experience with chef Stefani (or we called chefani) she welcomed us into her home and gave us the most amazing experience. The area was small and hot but well worth it. The food we made was out of this world amazing and she kept our bellies full and our drinks filled. We would highly recommend doing this experience in Cartagena. We had the most amazing time and will definitely make these recipes when we get home. Thank you Stefani!!

We had such a wonderful experience at this cooking class in Cartagena. It was the perfect way to experience authentic local culture through food in a warm, family-friendly home atmosphere. We learned how to make and try so many delicious local dishes, and everything was explained in such an engaging and approachable way. Stefany was absolutely amazing - patient, friendly, kind, and incredibly informative throughout the entire class. She made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed, whether you were experienced in the kitchen or completely new to cooking Colombian cuisine. She had everything planned out and was well organized. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and we left with our tummies completely full and satisfied. This was one of the highlights of our time in Cartagena, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable local experience.

We had a FANTASTIC time at Chef Stefany’s class. She was very kind to customize the menu for my seafood allergy, and we enjoyed making a great spread of chicken chorizo (which we didn’t know was a thing), patacones, arepas, empanadas, plantains, chicken & rice, and guava. We prepared each dish together, from the dicing to forming the dough and frying each item. Stefany is a wonderful storyteller and kind soul, and she shared her journey to becoming a chef. We ended up having some great, long conversations about loads of other topics. I can’t wait to receive the email with recipes so that I can prepare some of these dishes when I get home. Stephany is a joy and we were so lucky to have this course with her in her home! I would give her ten stars if I could.

It was quite a dynamic class, Chef Steff behaved quite well and everything was delicious, she answered all our doubts and the explanations were very clear, we came from Mexico 🇲🇽 and loved my friends and me.

Chef Stefany was amazing!! My dad and I attended a cooking class and it was such a great experience. We went to cook at Stefany’s home in Cartagena and it felt like going to a friends house for an afternoon - so welcoming, great conversation, and a TON of food. We learned quite a few different appetizers, as well as a main of fish/rice/salad, all delicious. Afterward, she sent over all the recipes, which are easy to follow, easy ingredients, so definitely can make again. If you’re looking for something to do on vacation beyond the touristy stuff - tours, crowded beaches, etc., and want an experience that feels authentic, then this is perfect. Plus it’s always fun to whip up some of the good food from vacation long after you’ve traveled back home. 100% would recommend this to anyone traveling to Cartagena :)

Stephanie was an amazing host! We got to learn a lot about food native to Cartagena Columbia. We came hungry and left absolutely full. Everything we ate was tasty. I look forward to trying these recipes at home! This was a highlight of our trip!!
