Huaca Pucllana, located in the heart of Miraflores, Lima, is an ancient adobe pyramid that offers a glimpse into the pre-Inca Lima culture. Visitors can explore its well-preserved structures and learn about its significance. This archaeological site provides a fascinating window into Lima's rich history and architectural heritage. On Tuesdays, the onsite museum at Huaca Pucllana is closed. Instead, the tour will go to Huaca Huallamarca.
The Larco Museum has a a vast collection of pre-Columbian art, including ceramics, textiles, metalwork, and jewelry from ancient Peruvian cultures such as the Moche, Nazca, and Inca. We toured the ruins of Huaca Pucllana with a very knowledgable guide, very informative. We next had a guided tour of the Larco museum. The pieces in the museum are priceless and beautiful. Our guide provided the detailed background information to help us learn and appreciate those many pieces. Very, very good.

Manuel did a fantastic job with the tour. His knowledge was great. He was very courteous as well. The driver did a great job driving thru Lima's traffic.
Glad that the tour did Huaca Pucclana first so that I could spend as much time in the Larco Museum as I wanted. The tour allowed only about an hour in the museum, but I stayed on after the tour ended and took a taxi back to my hotel in Miraflores.
