After meeting your guide upon hotel pickup, heading directly to 798 art district which takes about 30 minutes. Located in the Dashanzi area, to the northeast of central Beijing, 798 Arts Zone is the site of state-owned factories in 1950s including Factory 798, originally produced electronics. Attracted by the Bauhaus Style buildings and convenient transportation in this tranquil area, artists began to gather to re-make the factory spaces, gradually developing them into galleries, art centers, artists' studios, design companies, restaurants, and bars. Accompanied by your friendly tour guide, stroo around this huge area and feast your eyes on the studios and design companies. Complete your tour at one of the many cafés or restaurants, your can spend more time to explore the area on your own or your tour guide can help you to get a taxi to your next destination(at your own cost). You also can choose the option to have a private round trip transfer when make booking.

Sherry did a great job of showing me the 797 Art Zone and fulfilling my requests. I was disappointed in the quality of the art galleries in the zone which was not her responsibility. The driver Zhai Rui was also very accommodating.
Sherry was a great guide and helpful in navigating the very large 798 art neighborhood of Beijing. We met at the hotel and took the Metro out. It was a pleasant experience.
This tour is a really useful way of navigating the huge and impressive 798. Linda was a well prepared, friendly, knowledgeable guide who led us through the most interesting galleries in the zone. 798 itself is well worth a full day for those interested in art. Most galleries are free to visit, while some charge a 5-10 RMB entrance fee.
We had a lovely walking day through this art area. It was super to see a different side of China. Our guide Lucy, was very friendly and knowledgable and helped with directions to Silk street. Definitely recommend this tour.
