Drive along the ancient Ming Dynasty City Wall which is 1.5 kilometers long. It is an integral part of the original inner city of Beijing, and the only remaining section of Ming Dynasty wall and the symbol of Beijing.
Tiananmen Square, also known as Tian’an Men Square can be translated to mean the Square of The Gate of Heavenly Peace. It is situated in the center of Beijing City. It is the original gate of the Imperial Palace (more commonly known as the Forbidden City). Thousands of people come to the Square everyday.
This is a must visit street. It was easy for you to stroll in the evenings when the street lights are on and hundreds of pe is full of eatingeople are on the street. The place is full of restaurants, gifts, candy and souvenir shops.
Shichahai is a famous scenic area in the northwest part of Beijing, which includes three lakes (Qianhai, meaning Front Sea; Houhai, meaning Back Sea, and Xihai, meaning West Sea), surrounding places of historic interest and scenic beauty, and remnants of old-style local residences, Hutong and Courtyard. Houhai is a street famous for its night bars.
Then we drive towards to the Olympic park, you will take photos to the "bird's nest" and "water cube" from outside.

Excellent. We only had a few hours of layover, and Gym, who is charming and very kind, took us to several places, comfortably by car from the airport, explained things, and adapted to our schedule. Additionally, he brought us fruit, water, and a magnet of the Great Wall of China. What more could you ask for? I would definitely do it again and I recommend it.

We had a wonderful educating experience. Alvin looked after us well and was very good to us. The company organised a tour that suited very well with our layover times. Alvin knew some English and for more indepth details took the time to translate so we could ask questions and discover a China that we had maybe only heard about...He helped us find and buy all that we expressed an interest in and even provided a snack and water for the journey.

We booked through tripadvisor, took advantage of his service given a long stopover at the airport, came to pick us up directly at the terminal and brought back after 5 hours. In a short time we were able to see some areas of downtown Beijing. Nice, punctual and precise. Clean and spacious car. Recommended
If you’ve got a transfer and want the best way to see the sights, this is the trip you need! John Woo took us around the city and he was brilliant. He showed us all the main sights and is an excellent photographer! He took us to a local restaurant which served amazing food, and provided a proper Chinese experience. He picked us up from the airport and dropped us at our hotel which was super convenient. All in all I would 100% recommend this as a tour. Brilliant for a layover!
My guide Mr Guo was excellent. We went to all the places listed in the itinerary despite traffic causing the trip to extend past 5 hours. He gave me ample time to visit each site and never once rushed me.
The driver picked us up at the airport and took us around the city to the various attractions. He was super kind, he brought us not only winter jackets but also fruit and water. He even offered to pay for the purchases/dinner for us as we didn’t have the local currency, and then gave him the equivalent in euros. Even though we had little time we managed to see several things. Highly recommended experience!!!

I recently took a Layover tour in Beijing, and it was fantastic! My guide, Jim, picked me up early from the airport and made the experience memorable. The tour lasted about five hours, longer than scheduled, but Jim never rushed me. He offered great suggestions while allowing me to explore at my own pace. Despite some language barrier, Jim effectively used his translator app to share insights about each location’s history. His comfortable car made traveling between sites a breeze. I’d happily do this tour again and highly recommend it!
