We had an outstanding tour, learned so much about how the bees live and tasted all the different honeys . Thank you. We all really enjoyed it.
This was our 2nd visit. Thus time we came with adult friends from the UK. They found Maria's talk informative and helpful to understand the honey process. As per our visit in 2024, the establishment is very clean, tidy and well presented. I fully recommend this tour.
An excellent, very friendly young lady Maria met us and took us around. She is super knowledgeable about her family honey, making business and her talk about the bees, the work they do and how they produce honey was clear and detailed. Very interesting and informative. She spoke clearly so our two granddaughters (age 8 and 10) understood the greater majority of her talk. The centre itself is extremely well maintained clean. Hygiene was paramount at the tasting counter and very well organised. The shop is fully stocked with a variety of honeys, gifts and trinkets. It was well worth visiting.
Thanks for your feedback! We would be happy to see you again in the future!
What a find, this is on the E904, on a windy road, and we came across this place, so popped in didn't do a tour but dud some honey tasting, wow the honey was amazing well worth it, and as its their honey prices were fantastic. Definitely worth a visit
It was nice to see the bees and learn about the ways the bees communicate. I gained a new respect for these tiny creatures. The honey was amazing.
Maria is a fabulous guide with an obvious passion for bees. There's a nice shop too with local produce.
Thanks for your feedback, Mick! :)
Well worth a visit! Maria is fantastic and shared loads of information with us and answered all our questions. We were able to learn about the benefits of the air within a hive, types of bees and there jobs, how they communicate and their lifespan. We saw how the honey was processed and tasted the different varieties.we came away with some lovely made items and lots of knowledge. I'd definitely recommend families, groups and couples to visit!. We all enjoyed the time spent here including our 12 year old. The scenery within the mountains is also amazing!
