Excellent walk with a knowledgeable and entertaining guide
Thank you for taking the time to rate your experience with us! We really appreciate it :)
Stuart was an excellent guide. Despite the weather being a potential problem it cleared and we had a great 2 1/4 hour walk with a wonderful multi-coloured sunset.
Thank you John! We're glad you enjoyed your tour with Stew :)
Easy and leisure walk with a beautiful waterfall as a background for a glass of New Zealand rosè. Really enjoyable way to finish a day in this beautiful National park.
Thank you! We're so pleased you enjoyed your sunset trip with us :)
Went on a guided walk with the lovely Otis. Weather was dreadful so it was just the 2 of us. Otis was so interesting explaining the local flora and fauna. Sadly never got to see the sunset as pouring with rain for the whole walk. We stopped for champagne at a magnificent waterfall before heading back to the car. Thanks to Otis for making it fun and informative
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We’re delighted to hear that, despite the challenging weather, Otis made the walk enjoyable, informative, and memorable. We’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to him — and we’re glad the waterfall (and champagne!) still made for a special moment.
We were lucky enough to be the only two people on this guided trek up to the Taranaki Falls. Our guide, Cami, was absolutely excellent and she was very knowledgeable about the local history and fauna. It was a beautifully scenic walk, with some great views as we went along and Cami’s company and input really made the trip for us. We highly recommend.
Thank you for your review - we're so pleased you had such a lovely time with Cami :)
We had fantastic weather for the walk. The guide was friendly chatty and very informative. We really enjoyed the evening- fantastic views and a leisurely hike just for the 2 of us.

This would have been 5 if the weather hadn’t been so bad. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk, but it would have had more wonderful views if it hadn’t been very wet with low cloud, obliterating them. Anthony was a lovely friendly informative guide
We're so pleased you enjoyed your time with Ant despite the poor weather!
Lovely hike to the waterfalls. Our guide Ant was delightful. Despite chilly, windy and rainy weather, enjoyed it very much.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review Steve. We're glad you enjoyed your trip with Ant, even in poor weather.
An excellent tour! If you want to experience the beauty of the Tongariro National Park but are short on time or don’t want to/can’t do the full alpine crossing then this is a great alternative. Our tour was led by Ty (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) and he was a fantastic guide; super knowledgeable and his passion for the land made the tour more interesting and enjoyable, which was great. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting this part of the North Island.
Thank you for joining us on a trip, and thank you for your lovely comments on Tai. He's a really fantastic guide and we'll be sure to pass your feedback on to him.
My wife and myself did the walk, we enjoyed it so much, the walk itself is a gentle uphill circular stroll to the waterfall, and then back to the visitor centre, our guide was Anthony, he pinpointed out all the flora & fauna which made it so interesting, he was also a very friendly guy and very good communicator.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review! We are really pleased you enjoyed your time with Ant.
