Me and my husband enjoyed this walking very much . Kin our guide was very knowledgeable and full of facts and amazing stories . A must do
Kin was such an excellent guide on our 2 hour walking tour of Yogyakarta! His knowledge of history and his natural storytelling style made it a perfect afternoon. Highly recommend!
This was a really great introduction to Yogyakarta - Kin (Arief) has a great energy and plenty of knowledge to share about this region and its history. He definitely helped me to step into the shoes of my ancestors as he shared the history of Indonesia with me on this lovely tour
The contact with both the operator and the guide before the tour was excellent. Fortunately for us, we were assigned Kin. Kin arrived a few minutes early with a smile and a very nice energy. From there, things only got BETTER! His English is amazing, so easy to understand and he has obviously studied a lot about his own country….and others. Kin is an excellent tour guide because he is an excellent teacher. We started with some of the basic history of Indonesia, then more specifically Java and Yogyakarta. He took through years of history, always with an open mind, and made it so interesting that the time flew by. We compared notes from our own countries and learned so much!! Not even the heat could stop us from wanting more time to hear Kin’s wisdom. I don’t know if it is possible to request a specific guide, but if you are interested in having a guide who is so well organized and knowledgeable that he can teach you SO MUCH in two hours….request Kin. Seriously one of the best guides we have ever had.
Great Day 1 activity to get a sense of Yogyakarta - interesting history and some practical tips for time here. Kin was wonderful!
Yoyokk provided a great insight into this fantastic city considering the time allowed. Without his knowledge we would not know about the development over the years.
Kin was friendly and informative, sharing his love of Jogya and its history. Walk was well paced and his English impeccable. Recommend
Had a private tour from Kin. Many backgrounds from the history of Yogyakarta and Indonesia. He gave a good impression of the atmosphere of the city. Learned, tasted and experienced a lot in a short time.
I would absolutely recommend this tour! Kin is a very knowledgeable guide, and thaught me a lot about Indonesia and Yogyakarta!
We had a tour on the day we arrived, which was perfect for an introduction to Yogyakarta and the Maliboro area. Haidar took us around Maliboro, and gave us many insights, very enthusiastically. Recommended!
