Kick off your delicious Bologna experience at a lively local meeting point, where you’ll discover the story behind one of Italy’s most fascinating landmarks—the city’s iconic Leaning Towers, a true symbol of Bologna.
Our first tasting stop is one of the city’s trendiest sandwich shops. Its playful pink interiors and irresistible aromas will delight your senses from the very first bite.
Next, we dive into the heart of Bologna’s food culture at the vibrant Quadrilatero Market. This colorful historic area is packed with food stalls and local products loved by residents. Here, you’ll taste one of the region’s most iconic round breads, perfectly paired with a glass of local wine.
Strolling through Piazza Maggiore and beneath Bologna’s famous UNESCO-listed porticoes, we stop at one of the city’s most authentic salumerie. Enjoy a tasting of freshly made, handmade lasagna—rich, comforting, and unforgettable.
We end on a sweet note with artisanal gelato from a beloved local gelateria, located in front of another historic covered market, Mercato delle Erbe, renowned for the quality and freshness of its products.

Booking failed so no tour. we had the confirmation email and we had booking tickets, but when we turned up, the guy did not recognizing them and said we could not join the tour as they were already at maximum capacity clearly there was an error in the booking system, but not sure where disappointed that we turned up and not able to join the tour so we can’t rate the tour as such waiting for a refund from Tripadvisor
