2 Days Shared Inca Trail to Machu Pichu

I had the most amazing experience with this org! Our tour guide Alberto was unbelievably knowledgeable, kind, patient and funny, and I feel lucky to have had him with us. We peppered him with questions and he knew every answer, whether it was about the Incas, flora/fauna, or local history, and he provided us with interesting stories and facts about everything we came across. AB expeditions was wonderful and made this adventure easy (the hike was not easy though haha) and interesting (plus delicious food from our porters throughout). They also do charity work so although I am happy with the price regardless, my money is going to helping the local community. Thank you Alberto and AB Expeditions for an unforgettable experience!

Alberto was AMAZING! Our questions never stopped and he had answers for all of them. It’s fun when you can really tell a tour guide loves his job.

Our 2 days trip was amazing. A big thank to our guide, Felipe, who was always very helpful and created a great atmosphere within the group. The food was delicious and we had the chance to try different traditional Peruvian dishes as well as fruits. I found the hiking not very difficult but you need to be in a good physical shape. I would recommend to cancel the briefing the day before the tour. Firstly, the briefing took place late in the evening. Taking into account that the tour started already at 3 AM next morning, due to the briefing we had very little time to sleep. Secondly, no new information was provided.

The two-days Inca Trail was a perfect experience. It was so impressive. Nature and ancient history. Everything was organized perfectly by our guide Maik. He cared about every detail so I could focus on the sights and my experience. In Machu Picho time passed so quickly with all those impressions and Maik's catching explanations. He is the best tour guide I could think of.

I have been waiting for 20 years to come to Peru and visit Machu Picchu. A dream came true yesterday when we arrived to Inti Punku after hiking 12 kilometers in wonderful scenery. I had to wait 20 years but I couldn’t have wished for a better guide than Ingrid. Her smile, her knowledge, her intelligence and her kindness made the adventure even more special. Before the Inca Trail, we spent one day visiting Chinchero, Moray, Maras and Pisaq. Wonderful places, wonderfully well organized day trip. But getting back to Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail. AB Expeditions gives also lunch. On the mountain. You know, Peru’s cuisine is crazy, it’s so good. But what Daniel prepared for us was just probably the best meal I had in these 2 weeks. The adventure was long awaited and Ingrid and the AB team made it just perfect. Thank you so much, I will never forget the 3 days we spent together.

We had the incredible luck of having Ingrid as our guide on our 2-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and I cannot praise her enough! She is by far the best guide I have ever had. Her professional competence is impressive: She knows every corner, every ruin, and has brought us the history of the Incas in such an exciting, vivid way. At the same time, she was incredibly friendly, warm, and took great care of us. Ingrid made this trip the best experience of my life (and for others as well). Some could hardly hold back their tears, so moved were they when we saw Machu Picchu at Inti Punku (Sun Gate). Thank you very much for that.

The hike was amazing. Machu Picchu was incredible. Our guides were so knowledgeable and patient with our group. The food on the trip was amazing. Highly recommend.

It was great 2 days on Inka trail! Alberto, our guide made this trip so much fun! Very good communication and very reliable company! Would recommend 100%!

I thought AB expeditions were excellent. The communication, logistics and planning were exceptional. Alberto our guide was patient, very knowledgeable and we felt completely safe with him the entire way. I thought this hike was a great way to 'do the trek' to MP when you don't have a week for the longer one. The trek guidance , food and advice from AB made this an unforgettable adventure. Again huge shout out to Alberto who was a magnificent guide to have with us.

Fantastic experience, felt super safe from the check in the night before to my guide Maik’s knowledge. The lunch during the hike was super clutch. Right after the hardest portion of the hike, we had a gigantic meal of various dishes prepared right on the mountainside.
