It was presented at the world fair in 1889 to celebrate the centenary of the French Revolution. We owe this work of art to Gustave Eiffel. It is 1,000 feet high and weighs 10,000 tons. For a long time it was the highest monument in the world. You can visit the Eiffel Tower every day, all year round, until 11:00 at night, and till midnight during summer. It is repainted every seven years - about 60 tons of paint are required and the restoration lasts for three years. An interesting fact is that Parisians didn’t like it at all when it was built. They found it really ugly, and they were afraid the tower would collapse. Originally, the Eiffel Tower was built for 20 years but it was saved from demolition in 1906 when they put an antenna at the top.

Perfect!

Wonderful way to take in the Seine and city sights. Xavier was a perfect host and captain! We enjoyed the macarons and wine. We would recommend bringing other small picnic items on board if you’re hungry (we weren’t but it would have been enjoyable!)

Amazing romantic event!

A clear highlight of a wonderful Paris trip We had an unforgettable private boat tour with Boat in Paris, and it was one of the true highlights of our trip. We did a lot during our time in France — a Bad Bunny concert, Normandy, wonderful meals, and several memorable experiences — but this boat tour stood out. Seeing Paris from the water, with the city lit up around us, was magical. Our pilot, Helline, truly made the trip. She could not have been more inviting, warm, and gracious. She was knowledgeable and professional, but also made the evening feel personal, relaxed, and romantic. Her hospitality turned a beautiful boat ride into a very special memory. The boat was comfortable, the experience felt private and elegant, and the rosé and macarons were a perfect touch. We danced, laughed, and had a wonderful time. We were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary, and this was the perfect way to end a romantic trip to Paris. It felt joyful, peaceful, personal, and genuinely special. Highly recommended — and if you book, ask for Helline by name. She made the experience unforgettable. We would absolutely do it again.

Great experience. Jacques, our "pilot" sent us exact coordinates where to find the boat. He was gracious and extremely informative and willing to answer questions! He was an excellent captain and the personalized service was worth the cost.

Incredible! This will make your trip to Paris!

Theo was outstanding. Not only did he contact us beforehand to ask us if we wanted to see the Eiffel Tower sparkling at 11 pm (for which he timed the trip perfectly) but he also provided wine, macarons, and Taylor Swift music for my three daughters. It was a magical night and truly unforgettable. Highly recommend.

Perfect Evening in Paris

We booked the private sunset cruise on the Seine with rosé and macarons, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris! Toni was an incredible guide. He gave in-depth explanations of every major landmark, answered all of our questions, and made the entire experience both fun and informative. Seeing the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the beautiful bridges, and so many other iconic monuments from the river at sunset was absolutely unforgettable. The boat was comfortable, the wine and macarons were a perfect touch, and the views were simply breathtaking. If you’re visiting Paris, I can’t recommend this tour enough. Be sure to book the sunset tour with Toni—you won’t regret it!
