Description
This trip is perfect for a short trip to Mount Bromo. Starting in Surabaya and heading east by standarized vehicle then continued by 4X4WD Toyota Jeep Hardtop. Guests will cover a lot of mountain road and adventure trail. This is best-selling trip for guests who want to have relax time in Surabaya but still want to see Bromo crater without sunrise and explore nearby waterfall.

Itinerary
Morning pick up from hotel by 6AM and guests will be delivered to Madakaripura waterfall for 3 hours. Meet up in Madakaripura with local trekking ranger and ride motorbike shuttle to reach waterfall entry. Trekking for about 1.5hours along waterfall curtain and dripping gorges. Upon finish, guests will continue further to jeep basecamp.
After lunch break, guests will change to 4WD Jeep hardtop then driving along sand sea area to visit Bromo crater . Jeep will park nearby crater in parking area, and guests can walk up to Bromo crater with available path and stairway. Once finished, guests will be taken to Mentigen view point for Mount Bromo view spot and picture. There's also possibility to take picture of nice sunset scenery if weather allowed. By afternoon, journey back to Surabaya for 3 hours and drop back in hotel around maximum 8PM.

I arrived at Malang quite late from Yogyakarta City and have no idea about how can I go to Bromo. Since I am also solo traveler it can be quite intimidating to book a tour. But then I looked up a tour at Trip Advisor and found The Java Tour by chance. I immediately message them and they wrote me back. They are super friendly even when I am asked them a lot of questions. They assure me it is okay to book with them even if I am solo traveler since there will be other people who join the tour. The price they offer is really great and they sent me the itinerary of the tour program. They pick me up from my Hostel and we directly went to Bromo with the Jeep and even if the driver only able to speak basic English, he is great in his own ways, he takes you to the best location to see the sunrise, and patient with you. I met some amazing people on the tour and we have fun together during the tour. The Java Tour Team are really friendly and profesional on their job. All of those put me at ease even if I am solo traveler.
